mine just went out. Just placed an order for the part, I used to work on phones for a living and have done many charge ports but not the note 10plus. It seems pretty much the same as all the others. I have the ifixit tool kit but I didn't get the heating pad or whatever it is. What was the thing u used to heat the backglass?

Will the phone still work without the back cover adhesive? Can you just snap it back and put a protective cover all round?

you have to glue it, or use a special tape that maintains the IP68

Hello, thanks for the video! I've changed my charging port as well and its working perfectly now!:) BUT, since i've changed it my Phone loses his network constantly.. the Wifi is still working but reaching calls or using internet without Wifi is not working anymore.. Do you know what could be the problem? Thanks in advance!!

That's caused because there's different versions of the charging port board and you have to make sure you get the same version as your old board. Take note of the model number written on the board that says something like SM-N976V for example

I have exactly the same issue, did you found a fix ? I am using a charging board N976B/N on a Galaxy Note 10+ N975F/DS from 2019 .

@@AFMHdSC no, I had to purchase another charging port of the exact same model as the original board. I tried everything and that's the only thing that worked.

@@piotrnazim3527 I can't because it depends on the phone model number since different regions use a different board. It should be the same as the phones model number (written on the back). Alternatively you can disassemble the phone (which you'll have to do anyways to replace the port) and see that way

Hi, there is no sound coming out of my akg usb c headphones when plugged in. I have tried other headphones too but they still don't work. On top of that, there is a usb connector connected/disconnected notification that keeps appearing. Anybody knows how to fix this? Thanks!

I bought a usb dac and it only works in 1 position but it still won't play the akg usb c earphones and it won't read any usb otg and it also doesn't show fast charging

Same here, I have a Samsung Note 10+ and had the Note 8 before, charging port went bad every six months and now the microphone too. When you think of the price of these things you realize what a waste, next time I'll buy something really basic, phone and camera, this whole thing with new improved handsets is a marketing scam.

No its not its actually even easier, its just 8 screws at the port end. just a bit fiddly and a magnetic screwdriver is priceless.

@@carlitosvaldiviezo8170 Hace tiempo ya de esto, el problema fue que el nuevo que me enviaron tenía una pequeña pestaña rota, y hacia que no le llegase energía al altavoz de abajo. Casi me volví loco hasta descubrir el fallo, era una pieza taaaan pequeñita. Me enviaron otra placa y todo perfecto.
