This is a tutorial video on how to take apart and replace the LCD screen on your Samsung Galaxy Note 8. (The entire LCD+Digitizer+Glass screen assembly)
Its the same procedure and same glass screen used for all carrier models, but the frame that holds the LCD will be different.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Duos with Dual SIM card slots.
I used the following tools:
1. Small Phillips head screw driver
2. Tweezer
3. Open Prying tool
4. Hair Dryer or Heat Gun

does the procedure forfeit the water resistance? you should use latex gloves and avoid skin oils contaminate the components.

Can I replace just the glass using heat and replacement without opening it? Phone works fine just the glass is shattered

Hi! I have a Note 8 N9500 (256gb import) and a Note 8 N950 (64gb UK Model). I notice there is a big difference between the brightness (output) and whiteness of the two screens. It's almost as if Samsung a putting a cheaper screen in their Note 8's that aren't sold in to the US and EU. Any one else found this? Also no amount of fiddling with teh display settings makes any difference to the colour balance and output.

I rather send it to an authorized repair shop to make sure it would be IP68 afterwards plus not ending up breaking the warranty by doing it myself.

That's true, the warranty is gone when you crack the screen, but over here in norway, you get it back again if you send it into an authorized repair service. I did that with my s7 edge. Had insurance so i only paid 120 myself, and the insurance company covered the other 350 bucks for the screen replacement.

Why did we take all this stuff out, only to tell us to pry off the old screen, put on the new screen and push the ONE cable (ok, two) through the opening and attach to the motherboard? Why'd all this other stuff have to come out? The mother board didn't even need to come out.
