For the "YOU'RE PRESSING IT WRONG!" folks: I realize the footage in the fingerprint-sensor section shows me pressing hard on the glass. That's one unlock you're seeing. I've had the phone for two weeks. I've tried varying dwell time with each press, including the "just tap lightly and release" method. My own technique (firmer press) yields better results. I stand by my assertion in the video: this is a better under-display reader than any optical one I've used, but nowhere near as fast or reliable as a capacitive sensor. Literally everyone else I've talked to (who's also used the phone for an extended period) agrees. (Well, except for David Ruddock, but he hates everything. And we love him for it.)

Totally agree on your point, i have the S10 for 3 days and it does require a firm press. Every video has comments on “lightly tap” as if they own an S10 themselves, it’s getting irritating.

Finally, someone reviewing the S10 that realises that while, reverse wireless charging can charge another phone, that's not efficient. Reverse wireless charging is best used to charge a small device like earbuds or a watch. Thank you so much, Michael, for pointing that out. Having said that, this was another great review, as usual. I really love the fact that you don't just stick to the specs and the facts, you read between the lines, and show us some of the unusual features of the device.

That's why I always bring a powerbank with me at all times, except when I'm at work, the reverse wireless charging is a good tech but like every tech that's new it's still not good enough, maybe in one or two years when smartphones batteries well be bigger and more efficient

@@noonecares29 while the price is too GATT DAMN HIGH. Their trade in value $550 for my Note 8 plus the Galaxy Buds thrown in was too good to ignore. S10 Plus Prism White it is. While I'll miss the S Pen, the speedier phone is preferred. I have enough earbuds so I'll sell em' so at right around $349 after discounts, yup Major MAJOR GO.

I don't know why reviewers don't realize that Bixby is for local functions on the Galaxy device. You can change pretty much any settings on your Samsung phone with bixby, you won't be able to do so with google assistant or any other. I usually open Spotify and Maps in split screen with Bixby. Can't do that with any other assistant. Plus chain commands are the best thing I have seen Bixby do, which no other assistant can muster. And it is quite easy to have Bixby for local phone settings and still have google assistant active for more external stuff like finding restaurants, etc. Bixby is remarkable. These guys didn't give it a shot and I used to listen to them until I tried it out for myself and understood what it was meant to do vs other assistants.

Dont believe them. These guys have access to new phones like almost every week and that is why they think of s10 e as a better option but being a normal person who doesn't have access to new phones that often your s10e that you bought thinking it is a better deal will start feeling old and obsolete soon. If you buy a new phone you expect it to last at least two years and with new technological advancements your phone will start feeling old. So i would recommend you buy the latest and greatest. Ps: i am not hating on tech KZfaqrs i respect them it's just that don't believe everything they tell you.

@@KartiKKaushiKYt It's more than capable of lasting 2 years, it uses the same exact processor(s) as its bigger brothers and its sacrifices are mostly nonessential. Telephoto camera, in display fingerprint reader (there's one on the side tho), same display as the other 2 but without the curved edges (which some people actually prefer) and a slightly worse screen that is still better than 90% of screens out there. Great deal.

Agreed. I upgraded my iPhone 7 to an S9 Plus last year and I haven't looked back. It's not my first dabble with Android but this time I'm thinking I'll be sticking with it this time. :-)

I mean they’ve still somehow had their highest sales amount for any iPhone. I would be interested in android, but each one I’ve had has had issues within a few months. I’ve tried everything Galaxies. Pixels, nexus, one plus,xiaomi,LG, HTC, Sony. But for some reason they never match my personal experience with an iPhone. That and my entire family uses iMessage and shuns me each time I get an android lol.

I switched from an iPhone 8 Plus that I loved physically but just HATED to use it. LTE, Wi-Fi and BT were all painfully slow. Even my 4 year old LG G3 is way, way faster. My S10+ absolutely destroys it.

Wireless PowerShare is way better than the similar feature on Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Someone already did the test on the Huawei one, and the phone it was charging had a 5% gain in battery while Huawei itself lost 20% in an hour.

BooredatWork has a video where he tested both. Samsung charged the other phone to 13% in 30 minutes and lost 20% battery. Huawei charged the phone to 7% in 30 minutes but only lost 12%. Of course the newer one should be better. You're exaggerating here though

Ok, one thing I'd like to say in favour of Samsung. Why can't we appreciate the fact that atleast Samsung is ALLOWING us to remap the Bixby button. Imagine if it were an Apple product. Would it let you do ANYTHING else than to get to it's shitty af Siri? Samsung's made such a great phone, that these small things too turn into kind of big highlights, cause there isn't much at fault.

Single best feature is the option of a ceramic back. It’s the one thing I wish Apple would do. Would cut down on sooo many scratches that you could actually go without a case if you aren’t the clumsy type.

Damn it man !!!! After your review I’m kicking myself in the but for getting impatient and making the switch to Apple. I absolutely loved my IPhone XS Max until I watched your review and let me tell you I’ve watched every review on KZfaq and in the comment section of everyone I commented how happy I was to not wait for the s10+. My wife is gonna flip on Friday when I pay off my IPhone to upgrade. Thanks Mr. Mobile for showing me the error of my ways... lmao!!!!! Dude. You have a really good phone. I'm not an Apple fan, that's my wife, as I'm a Motorola guy all my life, but the iPhone isn't anything to sneeze at and any upgrade will be negligible. Run with it. But if you have the cash to throw around....

Note 10 will be even better - tried a Galaxy without the stick(stylus). Massive withdrawal issues. Large format device must have a stylus.

I'm using every S and Note every year since S6 and Note 4 untill the latest iteration (using Note 9 and ordered s10+)...to be very honest I nver used the s pen even once since few weeks after I received it. This is just me, using stylus is more confortable in tablet format...and 6 inch diagonal is too smal to be called comfortable, for me

Just use bxactions to reprogram the bixby button to do anything/more than one action as well (short press, long press, hold, etc.). It's been around since the Galaxy S8. No need to bother with Samsung's baby step option.

I pre-ordered mine on Mar 1st and got it today the 7th thank God. It's the best phone I've ever owned. The screen is delightful for reading! I like everything about it, and its heavier than I expected. My friend's S8 feels toyish in comparison.

The battery is definitely good but not that good..... You all get on KZfaq and fabricate or embellish way too much about these phones....

That's why I got the s10 plus. Also there was a black Friday deal where I got it $200 off and with free galaxy buds. It was a steal. I've had it since Christmas, and I don't think I've ever killed it once in a day of reasonable use.

Looks good but sence One UI my Note 9 is still a beast! Now I officially can remap my Bixby button! Oh it's a game changer my Note 9 is here to stay well at least till the Note 10 shows up!!

I seriously doubt that I would use the S10 to wirelessly charge another device, without the S10 being plugged in and charging itself. I would use it a a wireless charger while traveling, so that I would not have to bring just-one-more charger on a trip... Heck, I might even use it at home as a wireless charger. Maybe this obvious option should have been mentioned in the video.

Honestly I think one ui is the cleanest most modern looking ui on any phone right now. I think it looks awesome and I've never been a massive fan of the Samsung software but this really looks awesome. It makes other os look really dated

Who told u that ? Samsung says it can go up to that level but u can't go there manually whereas there are some lcd displays which can go around 2000 nits as LCDs are more brighter than oleds generally and one on the lg g7 can go up to 1000nits manually when u want it

trstnhn Not for me it’s not.I had lots of failures with Touch ID as i get dry skin on my fingers so my fingerprints change a lot.I was constantly having to rescan.Also,it’s useless when you have gloves on in cold weather! Don’t have to worry about that with Face ID.It even works for me with sunglasses on 😎 Much quicker.

Hi. Do you feel the phone ratteling at 80% volume when touching the area right below the back camera portion? I have s10 plus and I can feel the sound throught the back and that is annoying

Software & hardware speaking that will be easy. The hole punch screen isn't innovation. Oppo & Huawei are the leaders. Samsung this year will get nicest screen award again like most years.

finger print scanner: stop pressing down on it. just put finger on screen n unlock. the fastest!!! been seeing alot of reviewer maker this mistake.

The curved edges imho don't really serve too much a purpose but they DO contribute to a Samsung phone having a very Samsung-esque design language, an aesthetic they've developed over the years starting from their initial big change with the S6 series. The S10E will be the best bang for buck no doubt but without those curved edges, the S10E really reminds me of the LG G6. Not knocking it for such though as I AM a bit of a sucker when it comes to how a phone looks.
