I go over removing back glass & removing all parts/components so that we are left with the bare AMOLED so we repair the S10e Cracked Screen. At 7:10 what are you using to remove the glue? Are you using some kind of alcohol? Also I wanted to mention that with this model, the only way the replace the power button is by removing the front panel. So very hard and kinda tricky...

Hi, just want to ask. The touch is built in the oled, not on the different part just like digitizer. So if the touch not working, I just need to replace the display right?

Great teardown, you make this look like Legos! The power button/ fingerprint reader on my s10e has become jammed after dropping it yesterday. Is it possible/easy to replace and swap it out for a new one? And where would I get a new power button besides ebay? Thanks

Yes it's. It's pretty straight forward reoair. Just need to remove rear glass and logic board. Will need to remove the metal pin that holds it in and lift it out. Reseat the new one. Look up injured gadgets

Maybe acetone or some solvent (the adhesive in the phone is just a glue and tape strip)

Would u possibly have any idea why, after replacing the screen and bezel of my s10e that the camera pops up with an error saying camera failed? Neither camera seems to launch and I have tried everything including taking apart and putting the thing back together again making sure everything is cleaned and plugged in. Any help would be great

Hey! Make sure none of the pins on fpc did not get bent or have any debris in them. Worse case you may have to replace the part

The connectors that plug into the logic board. If bent it may of got damaged. Let's hope the ones on board are ok

I have a question, my s10e phone will light up and it's showing the main screen but it will not recognize my touch to be able to unlock the screen . I DID drop the phone but it does charge and the wallpaper is a live wallpaper and it's still running . It seems to me that the glass is the only thing that is messed up , do u think it would need the assembly replaced or just the glass ? I can send u a video if u would like... Thank u !...

Hey mate, just wondering if my s10e back glass is cracked on the top left corner does that mean the water resistant seal is compromised? The cracks have not extended to the screen. Cheers!

Small crack like that may be ok but I would not risk it. They are to expensive

@@MrPhoneDoctor Thank you for your response and i do not plan to put it in water or risk getting it wet cause its not worth the risk but i am wondering, regarding how its built, have they sealed the phone behind the glass panel so that water would not go through or is the seal outside the phone? I tore down to fix the back glass and stuck SD card. Now it's giving me the weird battery warning with a temp gauge?

Oh no:( more than likely you damaged the NFC QI coil in the back will need to replace it.

Finger print sensor is on the side. You can just replace that part.

@@illlsmith Thanks for the reply. I was thinking exactly the same, that there has to be a second way. But its almost impossible to dremel that part out the button would not fit right...I guess I have to remove the screen first

Hey bro!! quick question i need some help. Regarding your S8 glass only screen repair... I bought .04 mm wire cause i was afraid .08 would damage the digitizer.. How do i make sure going I’m going over the digitizer and not under it when I begin the split on both sides? Im afraid i might damage the digitizer

Hey! It takes a lot of practice. You will fail a lot but need to know where you fail so can learn from it. Really hard to explain best to get trained

When you stick that plastic shim into each side, you should see the plastic piece of the shim directly against the front glass. If you are on the wrong layer (under the polarizer) then, it will look like you're looking at the shim through a pair of sun glasses. That means you're on the wrong layer.

BenFreemanDC thanks! Now just trying to find the right material to use as a plastic shim.. any recommendations? I have a plastic card opening tool but I’m afraid it’s too thick. Any common to decipher household items thin enough that I can use as the shim? I’ve done screen refurbishing before on iPhones but never on Samsung

Yes it can be replaced:)first try cleaning with some alcohol may of gotten something sticky in causing it to not press.
