The problem with the G8 is in terms of software monitoring otherwise it is objectively a better smartphone than the S10E. Better battery, better screen, slightly better camera not to mention the Face-iD equivalent to that of iPhones.

Hi Matthews, I have an LG g7 and I love it, but I am still on Pie. I am looking at the s10e mainly because it has support until, supposedly android 12 vs LG g8 which we don't know. I also love the capacitative fingerprint scanner on both since i have dry skin and believe me, it is an issue on the newer under the screen sensors. Do you really recommend the S10e over the Lg G8 and if so, which vairant S10 should I get if I am planning on using it on Tmobile networks or even abroad GSM and maybe Verizon? I am not sure if a tmobile version is the way to go on either the S10 or Lg G8.. Thanks for any input. By the way, I have a pixe 6 and s20 + and can't stand their heft and bad fingerprint sensors. thanks

Why do they always gripe about notches on android phones but never with iphones. Never hear them say the new iphone looks dated it has a big ass notch.

Hello Matthews Pls I've got an LG G8. The camera when i lunch it its all clear and perfect but as soon as I took a pic the quality doesn't look the same as compared to before the pic was taken. Pls what can I do?

Make sure the camera lens is clean, and try a hard reset then install gcam or try using manual mode.

The g8 is still good. Only sold mine to get a v60 since the price dropped. Otherwise I'd still have mine

@@luigisag4181 I use LG g8 for 1year and a half now and I really have good experience while gaming but i still recommend you to get LG V50 instead because it has bigger display and battery, and it will make game experience much better, but to get pubg run without lag you need something cold to decrease its high temperature. For me, I use a fan to decrease the temperature so i really get good experience while gaming.

Punched hole or notch. Bezel any day. Those two are display intrusions that can ruin the viewing experience. Have not seen such intrusions on any TV. At least, yet. Hopefully, not.
