The Samsung S20 FE also has the newer UFS 3.1 .. the Regular S20's use UFS 3.0 so another positive for the FE edition, good video Bhai love from the UK.

I have the S20 5G and I absolutely love this phone, 4000mAh for only 6.2" = insane battery life even with 120hz enabled. I'd much rather have this form factor than a much larger 6.5" device bc it's so much more convenient to hold/ carry. Love this phone!

yeah i agree, they should have released the s20 FE earlier like alongside the s20 series in February and not September, i got my s10 lite in July and i am regretting it.

The FE is a beastly phone. The 865 is blazing fast, oh boy, that 120hz display is 🔥. Camera & 🔋 also very good. Yep, at it's price a definite no-brainer!

Nice write-up - not many of the reviews make it clear that there's both 5G SD 865 vs LTE Exynos 990 variants of the S20 FE. After being so excited to get this device, I was very disappointed when I discovered that I ended up with the LTE Exynos 990 - there's no clear indication on the box, and I didn't know I had to specifically look for the "5G" (its not in my country anyway). Initial battery life was awful and I noted it getting very hot during initial setup - this prompted me to run some benchmarks that I realized I didn't get the SD865. However, after switching off the 120 Hz display (I don't game on my phone and don't miss the higher rate), it became much better and I didn't notice any more temp spikes. I guess that's a tradeoff you've got to make with the less efficient SoC - after the initial disappointment I'm happy again and glad I opted for the middle of the road price point. Performance is still more than fast enough for day to day to use,and the camera is good - coming from a P20 Pro I didn't find it to be that great, but I do enjoy the wide angle lens. I don't know if I will miss 5G in the long term, as I keep my phones for 3 or 4 years, but time will tell.

Where I live, it's priced as the S20 Plus, so it's a no-brainer going with S20 plus over FE

I does seem that many people overlook one of the perhaps biggest differences between the FE and the normal s20: the FE only comes with 6gb of ram which does seem to be a bare minimum for that impressive chip but does will surely hinder it a few years down the line. The normal S20 has 12 gb ram as standard and therefore must be much more futureproof despite a chip that is slightly subpar in comparison to the snapdragon.

The first Samsung 120 hz to give a full day? What? Note 20 Ultra frequently gives me more than a day, and if I use Bixby routines to force 120hz in power saving mode, I can push nearly 2. I'm fairly certain the entire S20 line cam achieve the same as well.

Both of them are in the same price category in my country 700$ for the FE with 6 GB ram. And 720$ for the S20 + with 8 GB ram and better screen resolution. The only problem with the S20+ here is that it has the exynos CPU...

was not sure if I should take the regular S20 or the BTS version of S20+, but wanted to wait until black friday to see if I can get ANY of the s20-series for a better price. but now that they have dropped the FE version and also exactly on my bday, I think this is totally telling me to buy the FE version LOL

I still have an s8 and it's running fine... Been thinking about upgrading and might just go with the S20 FE and buy a ipad and pencil for the same price as the S20 plus.

Traded in my (beloved) GS9 for the blue 5g version. Verizon offered a $300 discount + $100 for my trade - way to good to pass up. Five days in and I have zero regrets. Excellent product in every way.

I was considering S20 as my upgrade to my old S8 but the FE stole my money. Only sacrifice is the Gorgeous screen and the premium feel of the s20 but the fact that it comes with sd855 across all countries is premium enough for me.

You can actually get the s20 for hella cheap now in the UK (from carriers). It will probably be cheaper than the S20 FE when it’s released.

Just a quick correction, we get the Qualcomm chip with the S20 FE 5G in the UK, not the Exynus.

Got mine on pre-order. The trade in for my old s9 plus was too good to pass up. The only thing I'm a little bummed about is the head phone jack.

I just bought the international S20+ from Amazon for 649 dollars, but they also currently have the S20 FE for as low as 549. I personally just preferred the look of the S20+ bcuz to me the FE is darn ugly, lol. I'm upgrading from the S8+, which isn't even slow, so I couldn't care less about having the exynos chip, and 5g isn't a thing where I live anyway.

Does the FE have a heaphone jack? Can it use a micro SD card? I'm thinking this would be a significant upgrade from an S7.

In India right now in festive sale S20+ costs ₹49999 which is the launch price of S20 FE , and FE does not have any discounts also. So the price is exactly same.. which one should I pick?

I snapped the LCD on my s20+ and was going to get a s21 ultra(couldn't quite afford the down payment on it), so I settled for the s20 FE, and I like it so far, I can hardly tell a difference in use purpose or performance. I wasn't sure on getting it, but I needed a phone asap, so I settled for this. Not settling on a bad decision either. This will last me as long as it needs too, which is until I can get the s21 ultra, or maybe even the s22 ultra(if and when it releases)

The surprising dealbreaker for me on the S20 FE was the silver ring around the hole-punch camera. It was oddly too distracting when compared to the S20, which kind of blends in to the display

I currently have a samsung note 9, with a broken screen but it works for me atm. I've been wanting to upgrade as the contract buy out for me is much cheaper then a screen replacement. I was originally looking at a Note 20 naturally however it seems the 21 will be leauges better and more for Note fans. Would the comment section recommend this 20 FE for a good year or two replacement phone? Or should get something else. Photos are my main draw to a phone.

I miss only one thing from FE, the Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. But i understand that it still gives a slight edge for the s20-note20 main lineup to make them considerable at least.

Im so over using a curved edged phone after the s7 edge and using s9+, I'm going to wait for the s21 hopefully theres a flat screen version if not hopefully a FE edition gets released along side it.

Is it worth it to upgrade to this Galaxy S20 FE from the S9 Plus? One of the reasons why I want to upgrade is so that I could keep up with the trade-in value. Might go with Samsung Financing instead of my own carrier's financing.

They have the S20+ for $1140. -$400 (prorated over 24 months) for upgrading a phone on a premium unlimited date line. -$400 (not sure if this is prorated, it probably is) for a trade in for my Note 9. Price for S20+ is $340, which is $14 per month over 24 months. Offer good until Thursday.
