Ultra is worth it if it can hold a steady video frame rate, especially at 60p. Not worth an upgrade at all if it cannot. This is one area where Apple wins, and it's too bad, because I prefer galaxy phones overall. Also...limits to 4K shooting time? Stabilization for 4k60p recording? Keep up the good work man!

Update: I was in the Samsung store on Oxford Street in London on Thursday, I can't say that I was impressed at all with the 12x zoom on the S20 Ultra. It seemed so pixelated on the demo model when zoomed in that far. I also did feel that it was too big for my hands and that the camera panel on the back would annoy me with how scruffy it looked with the fingerprint smudges all over it so I think my mind is definitely made up on the S20+ model. My upgrade date is in 3 days time!! 😁

What are your thoughts on its screen size? I held a similar phone a few days ago and 6.7" feels too big... That's my only concern, not a huge fan of those huge screen phones.

Ok the Ultra is much bigger than I would want it to be. S20 would be the right size but as a tech nerd I’d have to live with an S20+ If I bought one.

They seem to be a bit pricey to me, but I’ll be ordering the S20+. They at least seem to be offering features that should have come with the iPhone pro models. It’ll be interesting to see how they compare, I’ll be trading my iPhone 11 so it won’t be too bad.

The headphone jack is still there in the LG V60. Yes, LG still makes flagship phones. I'm not bothered about the lack of a headphone jack. But for others who are, LG has one & the sound coming from it and the speakers is unmatched by any other phone. I went from an LG V20 to a Galaxy Note 9. What I miss is the superior sound of the LG.

I've been waiting for this. I went all the way and preordered the S20 Ultra. I mean, I had to! It literally has my name on it! Quite the upgrade from my current OnePlus X. I do wish it came in a cooler colour though. And I should get it in time for my trip to Orlando next month! So who knows? Maybe I'll see you at Disney World or something, Danny!

I've always had quirks with my past Samsung phones, from the camera to their longevity but I have the s20+ now, (it replaced my oneplus 7 pro) and I actually have no complaints about it at all! Great battery, screen, cameras, and performance.

i bought the galaxy s10+ in july 2019, no way am i getting the ultra but the regular model or maybe even the plus are conceivable. not totally convinced if i should upgrade as my s10+ is still serving me well and doesnt have a single scratch yet. the s20 looks amazing though and the only downgrade would be the headphone jack and the slightly smaller battery if i was to get the normal 20

Pricing is obviously ridiculous, but the features are off to a good start. I see little reason to upgrade other than to flex (probably will) but I'm excited for the hands on experiences

Sir please explain how the 12 Mega pixels cameras on S20 and S20 +are superior to the 64 Mega Pixels camera on Samsung A71? Is it a downgrade or an upgrade? I am unable to understand.. 😃

Because megapixels aren’t everything. Sensor size and micron size is also a big deal. While the S20 has a smaller megapixel count the microns are much larger allowing more light without pixel binning.

I definitely will go str8 to S20Ultra, sadly it only comes in 128gb version in my country. I wont trade my Note10+ 512gb with such little memory off, Ill wait for the next Note series this H2 of this year

If I had to pick I would have to choose the S20+. Yes the Ultra has that 100x Space Zoom, but honestly, I doubt I will need it. Also the screen just looks too big. For my needs the S20+ will be just fine.

Nope in the US the global model goes to 4G is 5G isnt available but internationally its 5G only with 4G version coming out separately

@@fuparaid3r the main different of dual Sim is you can have two numbers in one phone which means you don't need two phones to have two numbers. I used to have two phones; one from work and my personal. And have to charge them every night. On top of that I have smart watch and headphone to charge. Now that I am only using one phone (iPhone 11pro Max) with dual sim, one phone less to charge. But prefer Android phone because of my job.

In the Au the pro and pro max are more expensive then the plus and s20 so I'm going to have to go with Samsung for this one it's more affordable then iPhone pro and max

The Galaxy S20 line up looks very impressive. The lack of headphone ports is industry standard. They’re just trying to get you to buy the wireless earbuds. Really I want to see what Apple does with the iPhone 12 series. I think it makes 0 sense not to get a good case with your new smartphone. You’re spending a small fortune and it’s a device you’ll be using for about 2 or 3 years (on average) so you’re going to want to keep it protected for sure.

@@maddogbg7571 even much weaker phones are today ok and not laggy,slow or with bad camera.I would say that phones are reaching pinacle of its development were differences between generations of them are small and not so important.It is only hipster thing to own latest flagship.I compared my S8 to the S10 and there isnt really much in there in terms of usability and overall experience.

The "feature " that I don't care about is 5G. There's not an industry standard yet and the low band that has been rolled out so far is akin to AT&T's 5Ge that they tried to fool everyone with. At best, under perfect conditions, it's only 20% faster than existing 4G LTE and once these networks (T-mobile and AT&T) fill these bands with users, these minimal gains will disappear. while Verizon's millimeter wave is giving us the speeds of true 5G, it is nowhere close to being ready for primetime. It will be at least another 3-5 years before standards are set and we have a true 5G network.

I don't think any phone is worth 1,400 f£¢king dollars, then again, neither is a 2.5 years of Starbucks coffee visits. So, the S20 Ultra is like skipping 2.5 years at Starbucks for a device that's better and faster than my laptop.
