Just got the S20 FE 5G and I'm so glad it is plastic back, I hate glass so much!! Especially battery replacements. No glass cracking and no pieces of glass everywhere.

I have an s20 fe 5g with snapdragon . Seems to be pretty good for the price . Just dont abuse it though . They are water proof upto 1.5 metres for half hour aswel . There are better phones but they are way more expensive . I like mine . Its got heals of storage . Mines a 128g .

Is the big flex cable the power cable from the charging port to the main board? Or how is the power going to the battery? I am trying to fix a charging problem.

It has both. I disabled camera light sensor servise using adb and auto brightnes works without any problems and camera is no longer in use therefore removing camera light sensor from battery stats.. G780G version

Just a question, I saw on a Samsung forum where some users were saying that the S20 FE received different cooling systems in some regions, with some countries receiving a version with vapor chamber cooling, and the rest of the world receiving a graphite board. Does anyone know anything about this? I didn't find anything about Ps: sorry for my english, i'm using a translator

What happen when i put ejector in mic hole? Its make ip68 seal broken?

Yeah, that was the fingerprint sensor :) just like on the A50-70-41-51 and 71 series. They are optical sensors. My only concern is about the display, that it would be just as hard to separate from the frame as the A71 fith flexible oled, given there is no entry point from under the frame with a plastic card, so you have to go in between from the outside, and sadly that is more risky. Doable, but risky.

@@MrPhoneDoctor I tried the separation and it was succesful. it was tidious but now that I know it is basicly the same as an A51 display it is not that bad... the only thing that makes it harder is the alumimium frame.

Hey I have a question about the baby blue wire That runs down the left side of the phone from top board down to the bottom board do you know what that wire is used for. I had a AT&T insurance Tech firm in surian come out to fix my screen that was cracked and he completely damaged my whole phone cause he broke that wire that runs from top to bottom. I've been going through hoops trying to get a new phone sent out to me

@@MrPhoneDoctor Yea I am. So the wire clips like a button to the circuit board and when he pulled it up the botton part where it clips ripped off the circuit board the clip and all. Is that something you can fix

Is it possible to puncture the water protection for the microphone hole with de sim ejection tool?

No. The microphone is about one inch away from the SIM/SD tray.

As a s20 fe user, I really love this phone, it's abit reduced in power and performance compared to its bigger brothers, buts its still definitely a high end, flagship phone, it's in a league of it's own.

I wanted to see if a battery swap would be easy, spent 2x what I wanted on this phone and because of that I want to be able to repair it and keep it for longer time.

If I were to disassembly this phone could I just but it back together again without a new seal round the edges and just use the existing glue?

I would not recommend using old glue. Unless you can remove with out using solutions and all stays in tact you may be ok.

Will the mic damage when we accidentally poke the microphone hole instead of sim card tray hole on s20 FE 5g while sim installation..?

It will not there is a rubber gasket that is there that keeps water out. That may be the only thing that can damage

Sammy has cut corners on vibration motor, inferior fingerprint scanner, cheaper materials like plastic and they used the weird wires, cameras aren't all attached together which can make a difference in quality between all, and they used a hard OLED screen. Great phone but I wouldn't recommend to a nerd. Great video guys! You did it so i don't have to!

Hi guys, I own a Samsung Galaxy s20 FE 5g and i made it fall on the ground luckly with a good back cover. After a few minutes, from the camera bump started to came out some kind of oil, I'm sure that the liquid came out of the phone because i've cleaned and checked many times. I went to official assistence and they say it's impossibile, because there is no liquid inside the phone. Some one of you know what this liquid could be?

Where do you live? While highly unlikely, I wonder if your issue is related to the gel TIM used in the vapor cooling system. See kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gJ50hKZ3y9PSl6c.html at 2:39. In some regions, Samsung used vapor chamber for heat dispersion, while other have graphite thermal pads.
