@@La_verdad_es_libertad it makes sense for people who don't need hi res screen on their phone couse it do nothing but drain the battery and don't need super duper fancy "premium" glass on the back that easily shatter, but they do want flagship performance at noticeably reduced price.

They sell memory cards which are designed like sim cards to work in sim trays now if I'm not mistaken. I forget which company it was that makes it or what it was called.

Yes it helps but the main reason is that the exynos 2200 in S23 fe is more optimized.

Hey just wondering, do you know or if you can, test to see if the S23 FE back glass plate is compatible with the A54 5G? They look so identical and I like the the colors the S23 FE offer, but I have an A54 and seeing how easy it is to remove the back plate, I would like to know if I could do this in the future.

I doubt that. I tried using A54's protector on S23 FE, and even that led to bad touches despite having only 0.1mm of difference. S23 FE got slightly bigger cams.

It can be many things, bad software, bad battery, water damage, physical damage to the board etc.

I dropped my S23 Fe from 4 feets on screen side with a screen protector on and it still got damaged. It showed 2 vertical lines and eventually whole display got blank.

Well the phone isn't indestructible. A 4ft drop against a hard surface can easily break a smartphone screen, even with a screen protector. A screen protector alone is not enough. You should have gotten a phone case and screen protector. Phone cases usually have raised bezels at the edges. This prevents the screen from making full impact against the ground, if it fell facing thw ground. Screen protectors are mainly just good for scratches and low impact drops. A high impact drop can still break the screen. That's why using a screen protector and case together is best.

@@BlueDude-cf9mk Yeah, I know dude. My device had a good quality case with little elevation around front glass, as well as a tempered glass on. No device is non-breakable but what matters is quality and sturdiness of the device. Dropping device from hands is very common and if this galaxy S series device (which is supposedly be of higher build quality) breaks so easily even with all the protection then I seriously doubt the build quality of this device. My old midrange smartphone have survived critical drops than this. Funny thing is my device got crack of only around 5 cm in the middle but no cracks and scratches on tempered glass Lol.

If I remember correctly, it was a E-sim model but its not like it has a physical sim built in.

Great teardown but bad phone. With last year’s chip, this phone is completing with S22 rather than S23, but it’s not priced competitively. It’s a long overdue and way overpriced S22 FE rather than a S23 FE. The rest of the phone is also constructed more like a (now-discontinued) A7X series than an S series phone, as you can see in the top-mounted sim reader, a vibration motor separated from the speaker and a optical fingerprint scanner. The great FE phones of the past aren’t here anymore. I would like to see a teardown of Xperia 5 V. That phone has seen a drastic change from 3 to 2 back cameras. 5 IV teardown too, if that’s possible. Sony is scaling things back much like Samsung. Xperia 5 IV has the periscope zoom camera replaced with a regular one, and then the entire zoom camera got removed from the 5 V. I don’t like how things are going now.

No its different than the S23. S23 uses an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, where as the FE uses an optical.

not sure, its copper probably scratches easily and it's not the most high end vapor chamber. So probably got scratched up at the factory where they stored it.

@@PBKreviews a bit concerning though, it's 2 thin copper strip with vapour trapped in the between, getting so many scratches can make it prone to get a puncture or slit that would leak all the vapour trapped(or liquid if it's in liquid state before heating)

I'm not sure, I don't keep them on hand to be able to check. They look similar in size, but usually with samsung phones, the battery compartment is tight, so the slightest size difference of the battery would cause it not to fit in the compartment.

isnt the cutout on top of the frame is for the ultrawide camera sensor to sit ? cause the ultrawide sensor seems different from the other two who had a square shape

No because the back of the camera is square, and if you compare to the S23, S22, etc, that area where the camera cut out is looks different. Usually would just be like the other two cutouts but the way its done is as if a camera facing the other direction would be seated there.
