I love the time and effort into this! I have so much more questions since the S23 Ultra only changed the 200MP main sensor, will the other 3 sensors be swappable to the S22 Ultra and usable if the main lens is retained?

Hi, Possibly the ultra wide (I should have looked into that at the time but didn't think about it). But the periscope lens was larger on the S23 also, so that wouldn't work either.

All S23 series have a new ultrawide sensor with similar specsto last year, samsung didn't mention it though

I am surprised that the parts of the Ultra are smaller than the Plus. Also it would be nice if you could swapt the battery of the s22/+ with the one of the s23/+ and get an extra 200 mA of juice.

I didn't have any on hand to try, but if the connector and physical size are the same (so it fits in the compartment), it should work.

Smaller parts are more expensive to produce and the ultra is more expensive, makes sense to me It's the reason why smaller phones are almost always flagships

The S23 and S23+ have a passing resemblance in parts, but the S23U might as well be a different phone altogether. At least Samsung doesn't software lock parts when it comes to 3rd party repairs (coughiPhonecough)

Hi, Please pick one device at a time. As I got confused watching all of the device swapping together. Like there was S23, S23+, S23 Ultra and S22 Ultra. So it would be better if you just pick one device(Compare with other), for example, S23 Ultra and S22 Ultra. Overall nice content, I love it. This was one of the suggestion which I thought would make your videos better. Thanks..!!

I have an s23 that has a damaged screen and also damaged wireless charging coil. My question to you is would the phone still turn on if both these parts were removed or damaged. Could it be plugged into a computer to transfer files?

Hi, no you would need a working screen to be able to unlock the screen and allow the phone to connect via usb to the computer.

Imagine if only all samsung models. All parts are compitable in any model like camera ports, sub board, wireless charger coil, battery, screen, ect. So much posiblities. You can create your prefered ultra phone with desired parts fron other models.

no because the S23 ultra battery is slightly larger in size and won't fit in the s22 ultra compartment.

Hi. When the camera app is opened, the main camera is the primary or initial one which loads. If for example the ultra wide or telephoto was selected to be used, at that point it would crash the app or go to a black screen once you switched from the main to those. Usually this is the case, so if the main camera was compatible, it should load up and work since it is connected.
