The instant slow-mo is something I can see myself rarely ever benefitting me, but damn am I gonna use it on every video I take just because of how slick it's integrated.

The thing that no one talks about when mentioning the shutter lag on samsung vs iphone, is that iphone actually has a sneaky little feature in settings that drops the image quality when hitting the shutter button quickly. When this is disabled, even the iphone's shutter is slower.

not going to lie the titanium looks nice with the flat display design like many years ago before they moved to curved displays.

The transcript assist is amazing and something I'll use every day. I hate listening back to recordings at times, especially if I'm taking part so to have this function is amazing!

Looks good but I cant say goodbye to my S21 Ultra. Still for me the best phone Samsung ever made! 512GB with 16GB and for me at least still great pics and speedy in all other areas. Remember when the S21 Ultra came out. It was the first phone in ages that was actually different from a design perspective. It was mind blowing at the time.

The biggest concern for most people is the text in terms and condition stating the Galaxy AI features will be provided for free until the end of 2025 and that different terms may apply for AI feature provided by third parties.

Finally managed to preorder the s24 ultra 1tb sadly though will have to wait till mid Feb 24 for delivery. Seems the first batches have already sold out for shipping in Jan 24. Total cost 996£ with free watch 6. Didn't seem to bad

So which one this year s24plus or ultra. Now that the plus gets the same display as the ultra. I don’t use the s pen much and with the ultra not having the rounded sides might be a bit different to hold.

I just pre-ordered this (I always upgrade every 2 years, so been waiting for this one), and NOW I'm watching this video. I usually check all the features and specs out well in advance, but since I've been looking forward to this one for well over a year due to problems with the antenna on my S22 Ultra, I haven't even really started checking out what this phone has to offer until now.

im glad i went with the nubia z60 Ultra. Was going to hold off for a s24u review and to me it seems pretty much the same as s23u. I wanted to switch it up. I couldnt pass up the 6000ah battery, uninteruptted display and ir blaster. Same old same old.

I’ve used iPhone for the last 5 years while I was waiting for Samsung to change two things on their phones : 1. Put snapdragon instead of exynos in their ultra phone 2. Flat screen Just preordered by s24 ultra !

I dont see much of a evolution compared to the s23 ultra

The matte titanium (thank goodness they finally went matte again) + flat display (again thank goodness) actually do set it quite apart from the S23 Ultra & in a great way

feels much more a software upgrade, from my s23ultra i don't see why to upgrade to S24, and loose the 10x feels like a downgrade, they should upgrade the 3x camera to fill the gap up to 10 x would make more sense

how does the vibration compare to the s22 ultra? i was excited for my s22 ultra but i miss a lot of calls when my phone ison vibrate (kept that way for silence during lectures and work so i never really turn on my ringer and rely on vibrate for knowing when i get a call)

Great video! Question: did I understood it correctly that for the S24 Ultra everyone will get the Snapdragon? I got an S22 ultra with exynos.. so if the Snapdragon is guaranteed for the S24 ultra, I will consider upgrading.

Always enjoy your quality videos sir! So I'm currently using the S22 Ultra. The new generative AI stuff is really cool and exciting, which is why I'm more compelled to wait for the S25 where the tech will perform even better. Also there are rumors of a slight redesign and new camera modules so we'll see about that. Looking forward to more of your comparison videos and the full review of the S24 Ultra.!

I don't like reflection. So weirdly, of everything mentioned here, I am most interested in the 75% less reflective screen. In some of the footage here, I thought the reflection seems more diffused but there is still reflection. Will we ever see a good smartphone with a matte screen?

I find it interesting that when Samsung does something completely insignificant as changing the metal of the frame he suggests that they did it because Apple did it. But when Apple rips off everything from screen size to camera specs... nothing.

I do love that reflective flat display However, the S24 Ultra failed it's drop test against asphalt from pocket height! You would think the corner of the frame wouldn't crush & the glass but it did. So I got my beautiful tan leather case & glass protector for mine when she arrives by this weekend here in TX 🤟

If retail price will be the same or higher (I assume higher) than top tier Vivo, Oppo or Xiaomi then i don't think Samsung stands a chance this year. The other companies introduce big camera improvements, brighter screens (funny because those screens are made by Samsung lmao), while Samsung lowers optical zoom in one sensor to increase low light capability, adds gimmicky AI, improves software a little bit and that's basically it. Imho, it'll be a sales fiasco in comparison to S22/S23 Ultra. But that depends what Vivo X100 Ultra and Xiaomi 14 bring to the table, we theoretically know everything by now, but nothing official. But seeing Oppo X7 Ultra and Vivo X100 cameras, we can expect nothing but photo beasts.

samsung actually did it, implemented AI without making it feel gimmicky. the features are genuinely useful and seamlessly integrated into the system apps instead of being separate AI apps that no one would ever want to use

Having owned the S21 Plus and the S20 Galaxy phones, they just don't compare to the S22 Ultra I now own - it's not even close. Considering how much you use your phone, and the S24 Ultra is for power users, it is the ONLY phone to get. The Galaxy Ultra series is like fine jewelry or a $100,000 watch. It is both stunningly beautiful and has incredible quality built into it. They just bury iPhones in every way, and my company supplies a free iPhone 12 and I have owned at least six other iPhones.

From a 23 Ultra, absolute Note fan, I love my phablet, casel. 😂🎉 I use the s pen extensively and love it, even on curved screen. I had the Sony Z Ultra. S24 is a great added phone to my S23

You also need more heat sinking, not because it generates more heat, in theory it should generate less due to the chip technology, but because Titanium doesn't conduct heat as well as aluminum. Titanium per cube is heavier than aluminum but it is also stronger for its weight, so it can be made thinner making it possible to actually make it lighter. Of course there isn't much there to begin with, so it can't be some huge reduction either. It does make sense that it costs more because aside from the increase in material cost, of which there is not much material, Titanium is a pain in the neck to work with, and there is always an element of greater risk of the unforeseen with anything new.

How does it feel to hold?

I upgraded from the S21U to the S23U and the difference in battery life was noticeable. If the S24U is as good or slightly better, then it would be a good upgrade for current S21U and S22U owners.

This is actually pretty cool, tho my future phone will be S29 Ultra, since I promised to myself ._. these changes could easily be Android system changes for example in OneUI 6 (atleast the Image editing and the voice note)

Why in my country Samsung Malaysia said the galaxy ai will only be free until the end of 2025? Are they joking? Because not even one tech KZfaqr talked about this.

What about the biggest most glaring issue that Samsung has slow shutter effect for moving objects is terrible especially in low light please tell me they fixed this otherwise it's not worth the upgrade.

Been an iPhone guy for years, tried moving to android a few times. The last time was the Galaxy s21 while that attempt nearly got me I went back to my iPhone due to the camera. I’m getting that itch again so maybe I may try again but not any time soon as I’ve not long had my 15 pro. This s24 does look good

I think I will wait for the s25 Ultra. The Ai doesn't really interest me. But I wonder if the slow monin videos will become available to the S23 ultra on a software update

Big Disappointment: Seeing coming from S22 Ultra, seeing very little in the way of upgrades I need or want. Thought they may have thrown in Magsafe or better 10 X lens.

There is 1 thing I need them to fix - it's the antenna. I've been using Samsung phones for a long time and it's the same problem with all models that I've touched. Samsung makes one of the best portable computers with a marginal phone module... I've been having signal problems on Samsung phones for a long time and I always wander if it's the phone or the cell tower. I'm currently running Note 10+ and my BF has A54 both are constantly on 1/2 fri range at home. Few weeks ago I was given a base iPhone 12 from work and that is on max with pure conversations , no cutouts like I have with my Samsungs. At work 1 of my colleagues got S23Ultra and has the same connectivity problem (metal case building) as my note 10+ (putting them side by side) but both of our work iPhone 12s work normally..... That iPhone is joke of a computer with horrific OS but it's a good phone. While the Samsung is reversed. Its like the perfect PDA with a phone on the side just because it has to have it... I really hope that they finally stopped using subpar antennas in the S24 series and cut cost somewhere else.
