Think you are very biased to the 6000$ camera. Many shots the s24 ultra clearly looked better in and you would say the opposite lol. 6000$ camera looked very blurry a lot of the time.

You start this video loving the A7S ... when it gets shot in the leg you keep on saying we can fix this with some sharpening and contrast and you turn it into a muddy photo ... for example the skyscrapers then you say again it looks the same ... they are trading blows for sure and each win in their category. Fixing everything in post for A7S ok then shoot raw on S24 and fix it in post and check the differences. Truth is that this comparison is a nice idea but kinda biased in the end. A better video would have been S24 Ultra for 1500 EUR compared to a 1500 EUR DSLR camera. Then it would have been clear what the sony dude said ...

at 3.48 it looks Samsung is in Focus and can see all people are in focus and better dynamic range. A7 looks like blurred out people movements and even the dynamic range is poor. I dnt understand why he said A7 doing better here.

Loved to see some wins by the phone, wonder when phone will beat the camera on every comparison, probably never, because of weight, but might come to the point where the differences are minimal or the phone is good enough you don’t notice what could be better

I criticised this on the Flip 4, there was everything for those flip phones become the most useful tool for social media but how do you take a selfie with the main sensors when the camera makes everything extremely over sharpened, everyone have pores but there's no need to make it visible in a photo or video, the previous cellphones didn't had the same problem

It would have been nice to see if you could correct the colors of the S24 Ultra, and also the oversharpness of the images? You can do this with Samsung's Pro Mode (iso, shutter speed, white balance...) and Camera Assistant. To get the best image quality in night video, turn off electronic stabilization, and apply stabilization in post-production, just like with a professional camera. Ps: The best Galaxy Ultra when it comes to managing light sources (especially neon lights at night), remains the S21 Ultra Snapdragon, the ultra wide angle is really not to be used at night and this with any smartphone, by default (in the majority of situations) the S24 Ultra does not use its 3X and 5X zoom at night, but a crop on the main sensor, you can change this with Camera Assistant. 🙏🏽

That was very interesting, enjoyed hearing your point of view. For those who don’t know, Samsung’s shutter response is user configurable to prioritize focus, processing,or speed. Anyways, would be interesting to see the comparison done with an Xperia PRO-I.

Phone images have better dynamic range because of stacking and post processing with less deteil in final image....dedicated cameras have tons of details and with post processing always produce better images than smartphone

As this video was just talking about and comparing the video features, RAW photo is not what I was referring to. The lack of LOG or RAW video is completely valid. I am very aware it is capable of taking RAW photos.

Honestly I think this was dumb... maybe you should have compared it to a dslr camera that retails at 1300usd brand new + kit lens.. then we can see which is better in all scenarios, modes and zooms.. no lense changes only kit lens ...

S24 ultra in the first shot has a little more detail ? its like miles ahead for video ... I really hope photo will be nasty compared to A7S ... Sony dude was right ... I know I know people will jump on my head. the best camera is the camera you have with you ! but for the price difference between these two ? is it worth it ? hell no and you get a phone also ... for wedding photography sure thing for nature shots that are used in magazines sure thing but for a regular user completly not worth it
