Good topic - small phones Great cinematography! Keep making videos. Edit: I can see that you release fewer videos compared to other reviewers. Could be due to the huge time and efforts required, or that this is a part time job/hobby for you. Either way, I'd love to see more tech videos with this cinematography. that's what I said years ago! Die hard iPhone users will go with the newest iPhone. Or, iPhone 11 or something. Die hard Samsung fans will go with latest Galaxy phone. It's kinda pointless to compare the two, unless the shopper is trying to decide which smartphone is suitable for their daily needs, and fairly new to smartphones

I upgraded from huawei p30 to s24. The 120hz refresh rate is very noticeable coming from 60hz. There is no 512Gb S24 though. If you want 512Gb, you have to get the S24+.

@@Nexen940actually the s24 plus would destroy the 15 plus it should be against the pro models because they have cameras the adaptive 120hz usb 3.2 for the s24 series and usb 3.0 for the 15 pros and none pros have no 120hz display no usb 3.0 it's 2.0 and no telephoto lens and Samsung has beaten apple now with os updates of 7 years

Recently bought iphone 15 128 GB variant, It’s been around 15 days of using it I am happy with the features specially the dynamic island which was not available in previous iphone base model. Definitiely a simple digestible video. I've had an android device for over 10 years now, but my first smartphone was an iphone. I hold the Google Pixel 6 now but am looking to switch to an iphone. I'm still keeping my Pixel because I'm sentimental and keep all my phones. But I'm just kind of tired of Android non-sense, and want to switch for a simpler OS but I also want FaceTime to use with family, friends, and most important my man. I've already made my choice on the iphone 15, but I always like to watch videos beforehand and ask the sellers of the phones a million questions to get over the last bit of nerves.

Remember that S24 and S24 plus will be offered with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in only a few markets, like US, China Japan and a few more. In most part of the world only the Exynos 2400 chipset will be available.

I honestly think apple does a tiered system where the goodies go up the closer you get to their pro models. Unlike android where if it is usually a software issue the basic phones usually come with it. Especially to compete with apple they show more upfront you could say. Something ive observed over time.

The main con in s series is that design, the design is good but not unique to S-series! Lower Budget phone and flagship phone all look almost same Premium unique design is very much needed!

The price for both phones are extremely high. Even they sell in half price also these companies will take benefits. As cost of manufacturing does not so high, little bit on R&D side, cost goes but they can manage in volumes. These companies force to buy these devices at higher cost to consumers. Please note I am not against any companies. Technologies are changing fast, and may be material cost, tax and other parameters, making these devices expensive. Companies need to think again to make less expensive, and now phones cost are more than Laptops, and personal computers.

The iPhone has one big advantage for japan-travelers, its not blocking the Felica NFC protocol, which is needed in Japan to make contactles payments and to have a digital suica/pasmo card for trains. They both have the hardware for felica, but it gets blocked/disabled on all android phones that are not sold in Japan. Only iPhones dont block the function globally.

I have a galaxy s9 and I'm going to upgrade mine to the s24. It's your choice if you want to upgrade your current phone to the s24 but it also depends on the state of your phone, does it still work fluidly, etc... but in my opinion you can definitely upgrade from s10 to s24

Ultra gets Snapdragon across the board, S24 and S24+ get Exynos EXCEPT in North America, where they get Snapdragon, too.

An iphone 11 does exactly the same stuff as the iphone 11. I think smartphones are pretty much the same as in 2015/2016, just new designs and new software updates. But my expierence with Sony Z3 in 2014 is pretty much the same experience a with the iphone 12 in 2021. Whatsapp works, youtube works, Chrome works, Phone calls works, phone is fast as a sportscar. So the only changes over the years is just refining over and over again

You are mostly right and there is no such important innovation like back in the days but you missed a few points: - 120hz displays make a huge difference in fluent feel of the phone and you cant go back once you used it, everything else feels laggy now. - Cameras got a lot bether, and I mean a lot. They may have the same amount of mp like some phones had a few years ago but the picture/video quality improved drasticly. - Displays got a lot bether and nearly every flagship now uses a great OLED which is so much nicer for media consumption. I dont care to much about bether cpus with more performance too, because I dont game. Thats why I am not listing that as an advantage.
