No need to put solder on MIC, it will damage it with excessive heat. Just prepare the board, preheat board with hot air station and then drop the mic with tweezers only when you see solder on the board in molten form. It will give optimal results every time. For mics that have hole on top, cover it with small piece of Kapton tape before applying hot air.
