The average user probably won't care about expandable storage or removable batteries (that's why Apple sells so much). But rather, if it looks good or not, and this looks good. I say keep the S line for average consumers and make the Note line for power users.

No Expandable Storage - Check No Removable Battery - Check Worse Battery Life - Check Less Durable - Check No Water Resistance - Check More Expensive - Check Good Job on that "upgrade" Samsung. At least the phone looks pretty and feels premium, you should also at least include a microfiber cloth to clean all the fingerprints so the fools that get the phone feel less cheated.

The cracked camera is totally your fault. Nobody sets the phone up straight up against a brick wall to take a picture. Either way, I got to play with this at work yesterday. The build quality is amazing. No longer can people say that the Samsung phones feel plastic and cheap in the hands. They really out did themselves. They took cues from other phones and made one that's really solid. Feels really good when holding it. The only area they liked on was build quality, but not anymore. And even though some people hate touch wiz, the software offers a lot of features nobody else does.

I have also reviewed this in another video by Android Authority also, but in the Edge video. I have the Galaxy S6, not the edge version and I agree this is a premium build and feel. It's not heavy where you get tired of texting all day. Nice weight balance and very easy to grip. It's nowhere near the iPhone 6+ size or the Galaxy Note size. In fact, it looks very similar to the iPhone 5. Just imagine that, but slightly larger. I'm staring at my pearl white Galaxy S6 right now and it's a spitting image of the iPhone 5s, lol. But again, it's larger. I believe the outer rim is aluminum metal. Glass on both sides. I bought a silicon gel case for it and used the new "glass" screen protector by Invisible Shield. Lifetime warranty. Looks sharp too. People with large hands, you won't be able to text with two hands. Too small unless you flip the phone to a sideway orientation. Otherwise, with one handed text, Swype is the best way to text and the accuracy is much better than my old LG phone. I love how the keyboard also have numerical numbers on the top row now so you don't have to switch to number mode in between text. Speeds up texting when numbers are involved. Nice feature! Comes with new smilies and emoji's. Beautiful. I have the 32GB variant, but that's a large storage if you think about it. You can store hundreds of pictures on it and a lot of videos still. If you find space is limited, transfer it to your laptop through the supplied data/USB cable. Problem solved. To add to it, Samsung also use the Cloud. I'm still not use to using Cloud because everything is on their servers instead of my own. The 64GB upgrade is anther $100 more. Is it worth it for double the price? I don't think so. Display is just awesome. Looks as if someone painted the background live. Very sharp and smooth. The speakers are more premium because I can actually hear a slight heavier bass, and the speakers are louder than expected so that's always good. Battery wise, it definitely goes down fairly quick. But if you have a car charger or a spare charger in your bag, it's not a big deal. I find I used up the entire battery in less than a day. But I was using it a lot. The camera is excellent. I feel the best cell phone camera out there. Those of you vlogging or enjoy selfies, you won't be dissapointed. Overall, the price of the S6 is $249.99, with a $50 rebate through Verizon Wireless. But taxes alone is high :p. I recommend the new glass screen protectors for your phone. It's not flimsy plastic sheet, but an actual hard plastic or glass you put over the screen. Easy to put on. Much easier. Am I satisfied with the purchase? Hell yeah. I was in the store for a good hour debating whether I should get the Galaxy S6 Edge or the regular Galaxy S6. I justified the features and screen size and in the end, the Galaxy S6 was a better value for the buck. Plus, the Edge has a smaller viewing area despite having the same size screen as the S6. That's due to the curve on both edges. See for yourself in the store and you'll be pleasantly surprised. You can see why I got the regular S6. Cheaper and I want to maximize the screen space. The Edge has a nice grip surprisingly, but again, are you willing to pay another $100 extra for just a couple of features? The Note Edge has more features, lol.

I've had this phone since the day it came out and can honestly say I've never had a better phone. The only that comes close is my note edge which I use for class and other purposes. However, I would take the S6 edge plus over the note.

Quality looking phone. Especially like the screen changing size and moving it about! What a GREAT feature! sd card slot missing is an issue for me. But, will be a while before I upgrade (18 mths) and I am more than happy with the S5! So we'll see if Samsung continues down this route.

Everybody shit about battery down to 2550, i have ip6 n really worst batterylife ever!! Seriously i always carry power bank anywhere, n i check the batt only 1800mah, but people use ip no one cares, but i care, thats why i saw review s6 2550 is no big deal, even w Qhd display, cause they promise it will tough, have u ever saw adv or review about battery life iphone? No! The adv in apple never mention about batt cause they know its suck! Seriously who ever use ip6, i know u shame about this but be honest guys

No thanx. Samsung is clearly ripping off Apple with this design choice! No SD card and removable battery are deal breakers for me! I'll hold on to my Note 4 as long as I can. If this is the direction Samsung is going..then I'll be keeping my eye on other Android devices. The Note 4 build quality is perfect IMHO. No need to cover a phone in slippery glass when it's just gonna get covered with a case anyway! And who was complaining about plastic built phones anyway?? No one that I have encountered was and I'm a power user!

I just got Android 5.0.1 on my Note4 and wow, what a big difference software makes! The Note4 has become even smoother and more fluid than ever before. The fact that the GS6 and GS6E are going to be even more powerful is scary. If you absolutely need SD storage, the Note4 is a beast, and I would say the best option. Android L Touch Wiz is remarkable in every aspect. The appeal and usability on the GS6 seems incredibly vast with something for everyone. Like many others, I can honestly proclaim, I seriously can not wait for this phone!

The S6 and S6 Edge are very impressive. First Samsung devices I've actually considered getting. As a Spotify Premium and Netflix subscriber I really don't store a lot on my phone other than photos and apps, neither of which I have more than 32 gigs of. If I did, I'd just go with a higher storage option. I already have a 128 GB iPhone 6, I'm used to paying more for more storage so the lack of an SD card slot and removable battery don't bother me at all. Can't wait to see what this phone looks like with the Google launcher on it to clean up the look.

The s6 comes very close to being the best phone I have ever seen, however, there were two deal breakers that put the nail in the coffin. I could deal with the removable battery (I have never removed a battery before) and even the fingerprint magnet backing, but the lack of storage is a very big strike against as I'm sure adding an SD card slot to this phone would not have been difficult. Another HUGE issue is the battery life, I don't own the phone, but the reviews all say that the battery life is drastically worse than the s5 and would probably give me the same life as my s4 now (2 years later!!). The waterproofing was a good step forward with the s5, but apparently undesirable even though it was an amazing novelty to have to not be concerned with water damage and my phone. If the s6 had: a bigger, better battery (I don't care if it was a little thicker, I'm not obsessed with thin phones) removable storage waterproofing (a stretch but very beneficial addition) I would buy this phone before ending this comment, however, since it doesn't, this amazing "form over function" phone has force my to turn to either the s5 or another phone manufacturer.

You can always keep large files (like movies) in Google drive to save some storage on your phone so no expandable storage isn't a huge deal breaker

I got the galaxy s6 today and i know i only had the phone for about 10 hours now i have had an amazing experience the battery on this thing is amazing!!! one thing i hate is that when the applications are updating the phone lags for a bit :( which is probably the only downfall but all and all i would say this is a great phone i hope they dont start updating phones more quickly the phone barely came out and people are already talking about the note 5.
