Filip. You should just freeze the phones by themselves so they can get to -35°C faster. As the phones are sitting in cold water, not ice, they might not have reached 0°C yet, let alone -35°C. That big ice block will take longer to reach -35°C. Still love your videos though!

FANtasy121 I would have to disagree. I happen to be a physics major in college and just because ice freezes at 0 degrees Celsius does not mean that the ice will stay at that temperature. You can have frozen water at temperatures of -60 to -100 degrees Celsius. So if you have a freezer that goes to -35 degrees, then after some time the temperature of the phone will drop to -35 degrees. Just because of a melting point or boiling point does not mean that a material must remain at that temperature once it melts or freezes. So in this case, EAP happens to be correct.

He is still not correct in this particular instance because he hasn't left the water to completely freeze over. I see your point that solid water can be at -35°C but you cannot have liquid water at -35°C at atmospheric pressure. The phones are sitting in cold water, not ice.

I second Jonathan, as this is simply the statement of Newton's Law of Cooling. Moreover, it is possible to have liquid water at temperatures exceeding 100°C by simply varying the pressure. The reference for this is any article relating to the triple point. Hence both claims made by FANtasy121 are erroneous.

Few if any of these channels perform their tests scientifically. But both phones survived conditions far more extreme than anything anyone will ever come close to putting their phone through so it doesnt matter in the end

All people who said Samsung or Apple suck are people with mind full of shit . You can't said Samsung is better then Samsung or Apple is better then Samsung because all people have their own impression about the phone they liked . I had a Samsung s5 and after 11 months of use he started to respond very hard and the battery started to became a shit . Then I bought an iPhone 6S and I still used it and it works great . Now I don't say Apple is better , I like the new Samsung but I think they took a lot of features from Apple from their phones . This is my opinion . I love both this phone ! Are great ! That's all I need to say . Please stop this war between Samsung and Apple . Both of them are great phones . Thanks for reading if you read all this 😃😃😃😃

um -24 Celsius is only a little colder than normal kitchen freezers.. and the ice is barely frozen so the phones only reached around 0 degrees celsius (32 Fahrenheit)

I prefer Apple over Samsung // iOS over Android... and my iPhone is garbage when it comes to walking outside in the cold winter with it, battery would drop from 100% to like 3% then auto shut off telling me to charge and it's so bad that I feel like the battery doesn't last as long as it used to

Freeze them solid for 24 hours, deep freezer, straight water. Don't care if they are on or off for the test. A control group could be cool though. . . I'd sub for that.
