Exactly what I expected. The back of the Iphone is aluminium, a very easy to bend metal and the display was cracked. That's why it's so easy to bend. I think it would even bend if you sat on it (even if the screen wasn't cracked)

Im a Samsung user have been since I traded in my blackberry curve which was new at the time. I just got the s8 regular yesterday and so far love it. Watching tese no bs reviews gives me even more faith. My fiance has the iPhone 7 regular so im going to have her watch these as well. I do a lot of outdoor activities like hiking, camping, kayaking and im very impressed with the durability and water resistance. You have gone to lengths i would never even consider. I always use a case my preferred case for going outdoors is the otter box defender which has saved my note 5 multiple times, another impressive phone as it survived 3 water accidents

And people will argue to death that iPhones are stronger

To people who're saying that test isn't fair: If you use your device, is it only vulnerable to water or to drop or screen shattering or bend? It can happen that you drop your device falls into bucket of water (water proof test here) and when you pick it up it's slippery and falls from a good height (drop test here), but it's working and after some hours you sit on that phone (bend test)... this is the perfect test series and of course... GALAXY S8 WINS HERE. (I'm waiting for Note8 though 😐. I hope Samsung would continue with Note series😐 )

u doing great job. I watched yr test on Galaxy S8+. I just unboxed mine and have ready a tempered Glass screen protector. I bought it quiet expensive. I was kinda furious to realise that the adhesive won't even work. I blamed myself for not fixing it well, ready to buy a new one again. Then luckily i watched yr test. I see no point to buy screen protection. The fone's glass is awesome. You saved me lot of money. Thanks

yes samsung phones are tough i love how they put design and durablity at quality wise but the only problem is once it gets viruses or has any software problems it very hard to fix and a phone that is not working is not good

The glass of the s8, is used to make the phone more rigid, by cracking it you are destroying the resistance as the glass is under the fram and allows for bend resistace

the S8 won because it has a thick metal frame below the gorilla glass explaining the solid feel you get from it. the iPhone has a thin aluminium back frame. both are great phones, its all up to personal preferences

Would have been better if you had tested them the same way around, you put the iphone broken glass under tension where it will have no strength, but the Samsung under compression where it didn't really matter if it was cracked.

Unfair, I just came from the drop test the iPhone was dropped from 25 feet and the s8 from ten feet. This is an important factor to take into account

Everything through this whole comparison he didn't expect of the Galaxy is what he should've learned to expect long a go. The iPhone though have for the longest time been behind in proofing, durability etc. Only now they're have begin to catch up... Yes, begin to. So I think the iPhone have gotten some partial cred for doing the right things better while the Samsung just keeps progressively raising the already high bar like that's not worth to give praise that they're not cutting corners but quality through and through all the way. Both phones are great. I'm not partial or fanboy. But one have clearly been the better and still are the better example to follow.
