I have a broken screen on the same tablet and in japan Samsung doesn’t repair nor sell spare parts(that I know of). I found one (and probably only one) repair shop that would do it, buying the part as well. It’s about 300 usd (more expensive than buying tab s6 lite), but I have data in it that I need to recover so I don’t have much of a choice. So after watching this video I decided to repair it my self. I found the screen on Ali express for 150 box (jpy usd currency is not favorable for import now).

The glass and digitizer come as one assembly. To replace it you must separate the glass from the LCD module (more adhesive); there is a video on KZfaq on this.

Update on my first and only attempt and massive thanks to the uploader. First, don't worry about the glass when removing the old screen, it's the side of the case you need to be careful with. When inserting a plastic card etc (I used an old credit card) Don't make the mistake that I did by inserting it into the hairline gap at the side of the case (stupid I know) it needs to go at the EDGE OF THE GLASS. Also, the spray that the professional is using in the video, its probably some kind of adhesive revover. I ordered the part from Samsung (surprisingly the cheapest place) it arrived within 2days. The part along with the delivery cost £160. P.S I had a lot more trouble removing the screen than this professional, that's because I didnt follow the video correctly and came in from the side, big mistake, but was able to recover : ) Hope this helps, don't rush and if you follow the video in every step, you'll be ok. Merci. J'ai un appareil comme celui-ci. Lorsque je filme une vidéo, l'application appareil photo se ferme et un message apparaît indiquant qu'une autre application est installée. Bien que j'aie réinitialisé l'appareil, je souhaite une réponse à ma question si vous ne t'en fais pas.

@karengallagher232 Ok, if you look at the other posts, you'll find the link that I have left. Once at the address for spare parts, type your model and then it'll pop up with replacement parts available. Or you can type tablets name and screen. If you have any problems, leave another post, it's been quite awhile since I ordered this part and repaired the tablet. After finding the site, I've repaired a tablet and two phones : )

If I had to guess it would be alcohol to weaken the glue, alcohol also wont hurt the components inside and will evaporate away. We use it on electrical components that got wet to flush out the water.
