Agreed... I have the tab S6 and it's fantastic. I can connect to the office using Open VPN and Microsoft RD Client. I can use it for school, taking notes with screen write. The only drawback is the display is a little small for all of that. The S7 plus is gonna fix that!

@Papa Smurf I see your point on the specs and can't disagree... except the display size difference (between the S7 plus and the S6) is actually 1.9" (12.4" vs 10.5") which is significant, in my opinion. However, I love mobile devices and android tablets in particular...I don't think I'm going to be able to resist the S7+. Also part of the charm for me is the portablilty. I have a Surface book 2 which I love, but it's kind of chunky and little too heavy to haul around everywhere.

Two words: skull. leader.

With the iPad, when you launch IG in landscape mode, it will shift the iPad even if you've locked it in landscape, to portrait. Even if you have a keyboard attached. With DeX mode you can launch IG while in landscape and stay in landscape. It doesn't support fullscreen mode.

Great question! Depends on your budget and what you need. Its a tool... what kind of job/tasks will you be needing to accomplish? For example if you major is graphic design and you're going to need to do some serious CAD or 3D modeling, this isn't it chief. Tell me more about your use case.

That would be a greater issue for me if there was no expandable storage. I find that companies charge more to get higher amounts of internal storage than it would be to buy the smaller storage and pick up a large microsd card.

I didn't have enough time with the device to fully answer that question, but I'll have another video once they release the final version with an updated review.

It depends what you do. If your a serious video editor then go with ipad. If your taking notes, surfing internet, youtube and nexflex go with Oled screen

@tommy lee I'm a serious video editor with 25 years experience and I'd have to HIGHLY qualify that answer with, it depends on what kind of editing you're doing. That goes for either device. I wouldn't spend long hours editing on either device, but for a quick rough cut of something, for some quick color corrected dailies, or other light work, including short KZfaq videos, adobe rush on either tablet should be fine in theory. My next set of tests on the tablet once I get it back in my hands though are external hard drive tests and some solid editing. My only gripe editing with the Tab S7 Plus would be that the screen is so glossy, if you're in anything less than ideal lighting conditions, glare and reflections would drive me nuts after a short time.

@EziO211000 That is an assertion without any proof. How can it be opened? Its known that Ipads and Surfaces are glued in a way that you cant change the battery. You should provide more information than just claim it, otherwise its useless.

Which is why I began with the Witcher. Content which has been mastered for HDR broadcast and would test the wide gamut functionality of the display, as you saw in the video. The reality however, is that a lot of people watch anime and game on these devices, so i feel it necessary to speak to that use case. I have 25 years as a broadcast engineer so we can go there but most people’s eyes would glaze over if I got into the weeds. Hope that clarifies my methodology. Thanks for watching!
