I just got a Galaxy Watch 4 Classic for Christmas, and this is the first video, out of the many I've seen, that actually gave me some good advice. Most of the others go no deeper than "did you know you have Bixby on your Samsung phone? Shocking right?"

Awesome tutorial on the galaxy watch 4 series. I learned quite a few interesting features for my snartwatch. I held on to my Samsung galaxy gear S3 for the longest and it was becoming extremely sluggish with infinite lag, even after factory resets. I'm loving my galaxy watch 4, so please continue making phenomenal suggestions for getting major results from our snartwatch 👏🔥💯

Great video. Thank you for the manual brightness suggestion. I also found the battery life a little iffy at times and hadn't thought of that as a possible solution. Bixby has been the assistant I never knew I wanted so far.

Yeah.. Agreed.. "Hidden" and "secret" things is ONLY when a function etc has litteraly been hidden from view. Like i.e developer options on Android that needs to be activated by pushing the devices build number several times so amature users wont mess with it. Things that arer visible in the settings are not hidden in any way. This is something I see most get confused by and call viewable settings for "hidden" while they are not.

WOW that was the best tech review I have ever seen! I hate when channels take 30 seconds to do their boring intro saying "hey guys its me back with another video" yada yada yada and then when the video starts, I already have heard of all of the "secret" tips and features. Tshaka did an amazing job keeping me interested in the video the ENTIRE time. From start to finish there was no blubber and I actually learned some new things about the watch like the info graph for workouts. Truly the gold standard for tech reviewers.

I love the watch but the body composition stopped working long ago , it is just hard to get any measurements from the watch such as SPO2 , even a heartrate

How does the classic 4 feel weight and size wise on your wrist for everyday use and more so for working out/ being active? Would there be much of a feel difference between the 4 Classic and the 4?

I went from the Huawei Gt2 pro to the Samsung 4 classic... The Samsung is really lightweight, I'd recommend getting the classic tho, the rotary crown is really useful

This watch is screaming for some Bixby Routines support. Imagine being able to make it automatically set the HR monitoring to continuous during exercises or when using apps like Strava. Or keeping LTE off when it's connected to your phone with Bluetooth.

That would be awesome. There's only one Bixby routine which works with the watch that I'm aware of currently.

Four months later and the watch just died on me yesterday. It won't power on at all or charge so now I gotta send it in to Samsung to hopefully be repaired or replaced. Thankfully it's still under warranty so it's covered. But, goddamn, what a bummer.

I don't wear it while sleeping anyways. And I know I snore I don't need a watch to tell me that. Heck I wake up hearing my self snore lol. I don't ever keep it raise to wake or never ever keep the screen to always on. My watch last 2 to 3 days as I turn it off when going to sleep.

I like this Watch 4 better than the Tizen which to me was a Lil strict on doing what I wanted on my watches. I go back to the first camera watch days which was BANDED IN some establishments THE USA. Hi I have Galaxy Watch. By sport tracking using gps all is ok by route tracking. But elevation is wrong minus 20 meters from reality. Whats your experience? Thanks.

I haven’t done a lot of activity where I’d be checking elevation, so I don’t have a very strong point of reference for you on that. I’ve made a resoulution to get in more hiking this year, so we’ll see how that holds up.

There are a lot of factors that determine whether an LTE smartwatch will work. You’ll ultimately have to contact the carrier you’re considering using the watch with to find out.

Wait your Watch4 lets you set the workout list as a shortcut? All I can do is set the Samsung Health app itself as a shortcut

Go into the settings, then advanced settings and scroll down to Quick Launch. Or you can launch with your voice using Bixby.

I've been using my Galaxy Watch 4 with my Pixel 5 since late August 2021. I love it, but it definitely has some limitations. For example you can't use Samsung Health Monitor app, therefore you can't use some of the features, which I would like to use. Also, I can't use it to pay with it as I'm banking mainly with Barclays and Samsung Pay it's not compatible with that. I really like that automatically detects my workout, even the type of the workout. Bixby is totally unusable for me, the camera app isn't working either. I'm charging every other day, it would be fab if battery life would be better, but it's okay. I still love to have it, and have no intention to buy another smart watch, nevertheless I believe it's a bit too expensive for what it can do.

You can install Google pay on it by the way and set a shortcut on the watch (double tap top button I think) to launch it

It seems the new Samsung 22 Ultra is basically a note in all but name. Boxy design, S Pen with a slot and flagship specs.

All the leaks indicate that the S22 Ultra will have a S Pen silo and a 5000 mAH battery to boot. Available in Black, White, Pink and possibly Green.

Not sure how much it matters long term, but the less time spent charging the device, means the battery will live longer down the line

Correct. However, when I leave it off the charger longer, I find myself having to charge at inopportune times. FWIW, my wife still uses her rose gold Galaxy Watch and it gets her through the day and it's frequently been on the charger.

Swipe to type is OLD on Samsung watches. Even with the original Samsung keyboard.. Even the Old Gear 3 watches have that....

What is the "right way?" I was under the impression that wear and comfort are personal things. Sure I can have the strap pulled to the outside of my wrist but then I wouldn't get the chance to connect with folk asking about it in the comments.🤪

I tried the G4 and the health tracking wasn't consistent. Sometimes would work, other times it wouldn't. Surprisingly, the tick watch pro 3 Ultra did a much better job of tracking, fitness and sleeping and battery life is way better

The SH app is really buggy, my app stopped syncing with my watch all of a sudden. I downloaded an older version and now it works perfectly

It was exactly what I thought it was going to be: A Tizen watch with access to the Play Store. It's actually worse than wearOS with respect to notifications (Nest is a prime example) and I should have trusted my gut on this one before buying. Regardless of the glowing reviews, this really isn't anything special. It performs better than the older Wear watches, but that isn't saying much.

@@leftis95 An Apple Watch. No, seriously. If you want an actual good smartwatch experience, it's really your only option. If you just cannot use an iPhone, then this watch is your only option, but it will never be a good experience. I have both and using my S21 Ultra with this watch is a joke compared to using my Apple Watch and iPhone together.

As a Samsung phone and Watch user I can definently say that Bixby sucks donkey. So does Google Assistant and every other assistant avaliable in the market. For basic things they work OK. For more advanced things (like controlling my hifi and home cinema system etc it really, really SUCKS. My Logitech Harmony Elite does everything MUCH quicker. Before I even have given a voice command I already pushed the activity button on the remote and is has already changed all my inouts, dimmed lights and whatever I want it to do. Bixby and others use 2-3 times as long just because I have to tell it what to do. And I have arms and fingers so no reason to use shitty Bixby or any other assistant.

@@Oystein87 But your need is VERY niche in that regard. I have the Harmony Elite and even Alexa can't match it for voice control, on its own. Once you have Harmony working WITH Alexa, it's pretty good, though still has some bugs here and there.

@@TshakaArmstrong Not really.. Basicly everyone I know disables voice assist. Uhm.. Dude.. Tried using Harmony with voice assistant before.. I litterly have pushed the activity selection and the remote is done switching all inputs and is ready for use before I am finished saying the voice command for doing the same thing.. Maybe it works decent if you only have a shitty soundbar connected to a TV. But then there would be even less logical use for voice commands anyway😅 So nope.. Harmony working with Google, Alexa or whatever voice assistant sucks. It's slower and less efficient using it that way. Tried so many times now and always end up disabeling all voice assist and just use the remote instead. So much faster and easier.

Samsung pay is annoying on this watch. Instead of requiring password to pay, you need to unlock the watch eveytime you take it off. Very inconvenient. Also, no official google assistance as promised.
