This was fun to watch. I'm 72 and have been using an ancient Nokia no camera flip phone since 2006, family teased me for years. I saw the new Z Flip 5 in the T-Mobile store and no other phone would do. Got the mint green and taking it to the store for the SIM card and hoping they have some cases.

I also traded in my flip 3 for the 5. I didn’t care for the beginner cover screen at first but when i finally got it, I fell in love. I really enjoy the pink based purple they used for the 5. Most people seem to prefer blue based purples though

I have been loyal to Apple phones but I had many problems with the signal so I decided to get galaxy s23 ultra and I absolutely love it I am learning along the way how to use it and I have no problems Also I enjoy decorating my phone and knowing about the good lock application makes me happy because some of my friends have mentioned the reason they don't get galaxy is because its not customizable but the video changes that ima decorate my phone rn :))

Waittttt because this is my exact issue! I’m having problems with the signal and I thought it was because I live in an old house. Was actually planning to upgrade to the 15! Might get a Samsung but I will miss iMessages and the emojis. I prefer Apple emojis more than Samsungs 😣

I got an s22 ultra last year. I really wish I got the z flip 5 as it's compact and I would think it's not as heavy as the s22 ultra. I don't even use my s pen anymore.

@yellowferret the first few days the battery lost its juice quickly. but i'd say around day 3 or 4 the battery started to last longer. apparently that's a android thing, it starts to save battery based on how you use your phone. for me, it has last me as normally as my iphone 14 did, which was all day. i normally use my phone for spotify, YT and twitter.

Six-year iPhone user, to this! I almost returned it too - I am SO glad that I did not. I found the most adorable case for (it looks like a high-fashion handbag, with 'designer' kerchief and all). I got the flip5 , but then my moms phone bricked, so I had to let her use it until she could get her own. Lol, she loves it and is excited to learn how to use it. Everyone asks her about it, and she's always showing it off. I ordered the sleepydaze rainydaze case from casetify, and it's coming monday. Hopefully, she won't take too long to give me my phone back 😂😂😂

@ronetired in my opinion, cons are: The flexible screen, you have to be mindful, but you don't have to baby it. No telephoto lens. No s-pin capability. The battery is smaller and has no dex support. Pros are: attention grabber, the cover screen is very useful, super customizable, the new gapless henge looks so much better. You have a hands-free selfie, and you can use the front camera while using the cover screen as the viewfinder. And it's hella cute. A solution for the battery is that there's a magsafe compatible case that you can use a battery pack with.

I also got the Flip 5 last week and in the same color. I love it so much 😍 Such a gorgeous phone. I also had a Flip 3 and traded it in for the Flip 5. I'm curious, how much did you get for the trade in? I got it for $300 but I've seen people get less because they traded in the Flip 4. I wanna know if you got the same value as me. Yeah, I would only switch from S23 Ultra if you don't mind losing significant battery! I have S23 Ultra and it is a beast, we can customise it the same way - the only thing it doesn't do is fold x

@@polisherci I loved it at first but I started having battery issues so I went back to iPhone. I would wake up with a full charge and do my morning social media check, texts and emails and I’d lose a good 20% working the hour.

I currently have the s22 ultra but oh my god will my next phone be a flip! Theyre actually adorable!! All i want to look into more is if the camera is as good on the flips as it is on the ultras? The cameria is super importsnt to me (especially the amazing zoom capabilities with still a great picture quality) so hoping i can find that soon and maybe will treat myself to one next year :) this is soo adorable btw!
