Hey guys, here's a little walkthrough of how to install the Whitestone Dome glass screen protector on the Z Fold 4. It's a very intimidating process, so I hope this helps you out. These liquid adhesive ones with the UV light are pretty pricey, but in my opinion it's worth it because they have saved a lot of my previous phones from drops (I'm pretty clumsy).

Big fan of the Whitestone quality and process, but I am baffled as to why they signed off on including such a poor quality hinge protector. In my opinion, they would've been better off forgoing it completely. The mechanics of the hinge don't allow for one - after all, if it's supposed to reject dust particles, then why would a TPU layer get through unscathed? But your video is excellent. I'm really glad you left in the error, too - a common occurrence for many of us :)

Nice crispy vid 😎... I also got the full set too but the tpu one. Everything went fine for the front and back application but for the hinge part just like your issue after applying it I was very careful and the same thing happened it lifted once I folded it a few times. I reapply one from a second purchase and also the same thing happened again. After inspection of the texture and feel of the hinge protector I have noticed it is not the same tpu material as the front and back protector and also noticed the hinge is snagging it just like your vid. Slightly disappointed in Whitestone dome glass and their rush for this because I think they are reusing fold 3 products and just slapped a fold 4 label on it.

My z fold 4 lcd is gone so i sent it back to Samsung to fix it so i love this vid im going to get one of the dome glass kits ty for the vid....

Great video. Still don't get why screen protectors are needed, however. I've always found them umcomfortable.

The 2nd curing you do it for 2 mins so that's a pretty good amount of time to lock the adhesive in. But yeah definitely you can do it for even longer if you like!

I don't see the need to go thru the trouble of using whitestone, especially since the main reason we used it before was due to it working with ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Where as the zfold 4 front screen has no fingerprint sensor, so just using a normal adhesive tempered glass seems more ideal.

Hello! Yeah I see what you mean. For me personally, the main reason reason I've ever used whitestone is because it's always saved my phones from multiple drops vs regular tempered glass protectors. For a phone this expensive, I wanted use to use the most reliable screen protector that I've known from my experience

@@Miksdee yea, I've used Whitestone for years and honestly I've never broke a screen while using it, but then again over the years I have trained myself to be very careful with my phones. I didn't want to put a screen protector on this but I think I will, I don't like micro scratches

The screen is flat, why would anyone go through this tedious process of uv curing, masking, etc. Just get a regular tempered glass. I have the spigen tempered glass and it fits like a charm. Perfect fit

That's what I got as well. Some people are just brand loyal
