I agree with a lot of what you have said, I don't think the cover screen should be that big of an issue anymore honestly. Next to the OnePlus Open both cover screens look very similar in dimensions now. Personally what I'd like to see added are fast charging and better secondary cameras. I haven't owned a fold yet, but I have a feeling if I did it would be those two that would feel are missing overall. People get so worked up over phone specs on Twitter though, its halarious 😂😂

I think it looks great and it's the best-looking, most refined, finished-looking foldable on the market. There's no sign of the hinge on the front display, no extra bezel or dead space. The squared corners and thin symmetrical bezels... it's beautiful. The device is 1mm wider but the screen is 3mm wider. I have to hold off on buying it though, I'm going through some tough times right now but I will buy it in a couple of months.

@pedrogriffin1934 it's definitely worth it. Give it a shot, you could always return it before the return period ends. Although, if you're an iPhone-only user it'll be like landing on a new planet. You'll be learning new things for years. I usually buy outright, unlocked, but I'm contemplating buying it through my carrier. They are offering a decent deal, I may buy it tonight.

I've preordered and non pre-ordered six times back and forth but I think I'm sticking with it. I have no doubt in my mind that next year they are going to have something at least wide enough that it will include the S-Pen in the body and be slightly wider so that people can shut up. I will regret not waiting and probably get it again because I'm a sapp

First of all, great video and review as always! But I have to disagree with circle to search being a gimmick as it saved me a lot of time.. one example is whenever I do doom scrolling on social media, most of the time i encountered something that has no context, like a scene from a movie, or a quote from a book (where the book title is not mentioned), an exact brand and version of shoes someone is wearing or even a hat, etc.. All I need to do is circle them and i pretty much get more information i need. 😅

Hated the narrow screen on my Fold 5. 3 weeks of usage and now I pray this from factor stays! One-handed usage is a breeze and it makes me appreciate the inside screen even more.

Didn't change much, so no craving to upgrade from my Z fold 4. Focus of innovation at the moment is more on software and AI, which they could bring to older smardevices as well. And they might, considering it is planned to make it "pay-to-play". Even those who can't afford the latest stuff could be part of this model then.

Make it a bit wider giving room for an s pen and a slightly larger battery. That said I'm good with the narrower outer screen having used it since the ZF3. Thanks to several discounts i went and pulled the trigger. That said i can't believe they still don't include an s pen with the folds? Thankfully i kept the pens from my old ZF3. Thanks for your vid, great as always!

I think samsungs form factor is better than the wider chinese ones. I did find the fold 5 too narrow in the end. I could happily live with the wider fold 6 display but also couldn't complain if they manage to fit in more display with the same form factor

I’d like to give the Z Fold 6 or the S24 Ultra a try but then what do I do with my Apple ecosystem. I have iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, MacBook Air, AirPods, Apple TV. Also a heavy user of iOS health app for Medications and heart rate monitor reader, Passwords app. Overall extremely heavy user of iOS, but been itching to try Android.

i prefer the the larger Fold Edition SPen than the current one and the current one is even better than the S24 SPen toothpick. Just hoping my Fold Edition SPen from my Fold 3 still works on the Fold 6, when it arrives on in a few weeks. I can't wait!

Looks the best it ever has IMO. But no, cameras deserve an upgrade and it needs to be wider. The OnePlus Open is wider and just as easy to use one-handed. Can't keep supporting Samsung's most expensive phone with minimal upgrades.

@@arthur_pd True! I would just say to try a OnePlus Open for a meaningful amount of time. Increases the width, without making it more unwieldy, but shortens the screen, making it even better for one-handed use. It was a huge upgrade from the Fold4 and 5 to me.

2:27 Some how I believe the folding phone should be tailored as a phone first concept then a tablet. Because the default orientation of the folding phone that is use the most when a folding phone come into our hand is in the fold position, to quickly read an email or to WhatsApp somebody. And the average person may not use the folding phone as a productivity tablet. This is why I believe that the cover screen should be wider. 😎💯💪🏾👍🏾

I wanted a much wider display along the lines of the honor V2. And they absolutely needed to update all the cameras not just the ultra wide. The fold 6 probably has the wprst cameras in its class and costs the most money then folds with far superior cameras. So basically Samsung failed miserably, definitely not buying the 6 and likely selling my 5. Hopefully the pixel will be great or ill grab a vivo x fold 3 pro global

I think Z Fold 6 is still too far from perfection. If you want to see the real foldable phone which close to perfection, it's Honor Magic V3 : 1. Normal aspect ratio 2. Very minimum crease (almost have no crease) 3. Very thin and light weight (probably the thinnest foldable phone so far) 4. Comes with charger and phone case

Tried it in store now.. In my opinion the outside screen is perfect now. It's wider than my fold5, but not too wide.. And it felt so light. If I want a regular sized phone outside screen I can go for oneplus open etc. Good to have different opportunities. Not going to upgrade from my fold5 tho. Hopefully it will last me another year till the fold7. But if I had a fold 3 or 4 I would definetly go for the 6.

Apparently, the external display of the Fold 6 has the same aspect ratio as that of the older Xperia (V), can anyone confirm? If so, it would be difficult and hypocritical to continue to criticize the Fold 6's outer display, when for years the Xperia has been praised for that 🤷🏽♂️ Ps: on the other hand I can't understand how Samsung could add 300mAh more on the Flip 6 and not even 1 mAh on the Fold 6.

One of the most rubbish companies Samsung is. They are paying the reviewers to say something extraordinary positive stuff when everything about z fold 6 is just rubbish. Z fold 6 looks like a metal brick, poor battery capacity, poor camera setup, very narrow front display......and an uncountable number of issues. They will say AI will make the photo better but in reality, even Faceapp app can do even better. Just take a photo with a 100 dollars phone and edit with FaceApp, trust me your pic will look much better. Sorry to say but other phone companies are wayyyyy ahead than samsung, all of our family members are shifting from samsung products to all other companies. Z Fold 6 do not even deserve 1400 usd price tag considering what they are offering. Samsung so does apple is just brainwashing people that they are the best. The only positive thing I would say is their software is amazing, nothing else. Don't waste money on it. Hopefully one day Vivo, Motorola, Oneplus, Oppo, Honor will take the true throne of smartphones. They are the real innovators.

I don't think he's paid off. He's has to sign paperwork to get an early sneak peak. Some of this relates to giving the bare minimum review until his official unit comes in. I can say he's not been shy of saying facts about the problems these devices has.

Close to perfection? The differences to the Fold5 are so small and in general they dont push things forward in so many points. So it is far from perfection.

I think they are settling on this design, like Apple settled on the iPhone design pretty much since the iPhone 11. I think the next step for Samsung foldables is to add a new model to the line-up, because quite a lot of people are actually happy with this design

The trade in value says a lot about the level of innovation… Next since im using an iphone along with the fold4, the Z garbage 6 doesn’t offer much / anything of value to me… all these AI features will come to 5 and maybe 4 BUT I wouldn’t care still for MOSTLY useless gimmicks… PLUS these will be paid features soon. Im waiting to see how many people will be willing to pay for them. Well they better pay because without them it’s basically a fold 4 they have in their hands… Samsung is definitely NOT trying hard. Conversation mode? Soon enough people will realize they wont wanna READ the person in front of them… Apart from the weak brightness (at times), the fold 4 is such an amazing device… 2 years of true improvement (not even innovation) wouldve taken us so far 😢😢
