@alphaspartan I just went through it again and I think I figured it out. Right at the end there's a "let's keep in touch" option. You don't need to opt in to that for the reservation. That last option is only if you want to receive marketing stuff

My suggestion for samsung is. They need to get serious about their phone, chinese brands has already beat them in terms of normal phone or foldable. I know there are so many sc4msung sheeps that can't take a fact but if samsung keep doing "normal" thing. One day it will be like Nokia

I use my fold 5 under display camera for meetings all the time, because I can also still see what the presenter is doing. The quality for those calls has actually been more than fine. I have an s24 ultra also, but never use it for those meetings due to the smaller screen.

I agree with you on the current width. Coming from the S23 Ultra I really enjoyed how the ZFold5 fit in my hand. It's way more comfortable to use and hold. However, I would like to see S Pen functionality expanded to the outer display to facilitate a better experience. With these yearly releases becoming nothing more than incremental updates to the previous years models do you think it would be a good idea for manufacturers to move to a release every 2 years? I think we would actually see worthy upgrades and less issues similar to the ones that dominated the forums after the S24 Ultra release regarding the camera and screen. Working in the tech industry I know first hand there's only so much you can accomplish in software and hardware development in a year.

Last week I got my hands on Vivo Fold. Damn it was perfect form factor. It felt like better than Samsung except the UI. If Vivo improve their UI for foldable they will rule the market. I'm glad that many manufacturers stepping into foldables.

I much prefer the Honor Magic V2 form factor, so thin and light with a wider outer and inner screen. While also being very 1 handable. Samsung has the best software but it's getting very annoying how little they change yearly.

5:19 I am one of the people who don't mind the S pen on the case than inside the phone. The reason is that, we really want Samsung to focus on bettering the mechanism, the screen size. If they put in the S pen slot, it is likely going to come with compromises on these.

I like the concept of a folding phone but I'm not going back. I've had to replace my inner screen twice even though I rarely unfold the phone. I can imagine if I used the way your supposed to. Going back to galaxy ultra.

No Alex! Don't encourage Samsung to leave the cover display in its current State lol, I have the OnePlus open and the form factor is perfect. Sometimes when you're on the go and need to get something simple done, The last thing you need is to have to open the phone and accidentally drop it. Now just possibly ruined a near $2,000 phone. Not only that, but if we don't encourage change and innovation, they will surely follow in the footsteps of apple. And I don't know about you, but I don't want to buy the same phone every year.

@@AlexGTech I thought I liked it until I started using it. I’ve had every fold except 2nd one. And I ended up trading them all because of the cover display. And I have small hands for a guy. The typos were driving me crazy until one plus came out with their foldable. Yeah but I’m glad it works for you, keep up the good content brother.

I've had the ZF4 for 2 years and you get used to the cover screen in a few months. Genuinely curious how long you tried the cover screen out. I know some people like to "try before they buy" and 2 weeks isn't enough time to adjust to the smaller screen. Voice typing, swipe typing. 2 thumb pecking. Zero problems with any of those for me and I prob have avg hands.

5:56 I actually prefer the poor quality camera because it is mostly used for virtual meetings: if I have it with someone I don't know, they will have poor quality picture of mine, preventing them from misusing it if they took a screen shot thereof.

Great question! I'd say the crease, but mostly because I've been using 120Hz on my phones for a while. Whenever I do see 60Hz on any handheld device, it stands out

To give a quick reply or doing something while travelling or in hurry where these larger outer screen kicks in. But 5700 vs 4400 ? No doubt I will go for larger. Camera also better in X fold 3 pro. Only software needs to get better.

Samsung should build a new W Fold (Wide) to appease the wide cover display people. Only thing I want upgraded are the cameras and battery size and charging speeds (obviously also the year over year chip)

If Samsung do some decent trade in values (UK), I might jump from my S23U.. If they don't, then, better to get a Fold5. - Looking forward to the 6, while we all know it's going to be a small spec jump, I feel Samsung have a very rounded offering, feels like the competion is good, but always missing 'something'.

Please ever since the fold 3 i have been waiting for integrated Spen and ultra cameras and wider cover screen thats all the device is missing. you add in dex and your carrying around a top quality camera phone tablet and pc in your pocket. This is all we need make the Spen smaller and thinner and get the Spen in there.

I am agree with u. Since i am already using Fold 2. Iam ok with current display cover it is comfortable for 1 handed but no for 6.5. Prefer samsung improve for the protection and build quality Rather then cover display n camera

I think they should make the fold the new galaxy note their new super ultra pro max flagship with all the good cameras gorilla glass armor big scrren best brightness like 2600nits of the s24ultra , built in pen , ip68 , and everything S has but in the foldable form factor.. But I think this will happen only of they get enough sales..

Alex I would love to see the Fold 6 mimic the smoothness of the OnePlus Open Foldable. I had a Fold 4 and there were some issues with it. I had to return it to Samsung and they gave me hell to replace it. In the end I told them to F off and I got it replaced by my provider. So Samsung needs to do a lot especially around aftercare support.

I grew with the thinness as well why do manufacturers keep tryin to go so this if they can thin down the electronics just put a bigger battery or better periscope cameras etc just don’t get the point of the thin thing 🤦👍

Yet another great video A👍. Will I buy the ZF6? Right now I'm telling myself No just like I did last year, but then Samsung offered me a deal that Made me buy the F5. Samsung forced me!! We'll see.... I know it won't happen, but I still hope for an S-Pen just like the S24U. A larger battery, and I do want a wider front display that also will be capable for using the pen on.

@@AlexGTech Not as wide as the PX Fold, but more like the width of a Sony phone. I did get to test Xiaomi's latest device, and I really liked it's form factor. That's kinda like I want the Gallux Fold 6 to be like. The Xiaomi did had some faults that made me not consider getting it. No S-pen!! No OneUi, and I really did not like having to see the camera on the inner display all the time.

Ive had the fold 3,4 and now 5...im a fan obviously but will not buy another one until a much wider outer display is added and vastly improved cameras especially the zoom. Samsung has not had any competition in years past but they certainly do now...there are devices with far superior cameras, wide screens and much bigger batteries so they better step up this year.

I agree. I just think people like it because it is "good enough" but also because that camera is on the biggest screen so people will naturally use that over the smaller screen for a video call.

Reason why on the fold 4 is because the update to the 5 was embarrassing and now the the 6 looks like it's the same exact things. Samsung has no shame smb no innovation with these 3 phones 3 YEARS! guarantee you hold them all in your hands and it will all look the same .🙄

To be fair the Fold 4 is still a banger. I definitely wouldn't have upgraded to the Fold 5 if I was doing these reviews. Mainly because of the resale value really. I nearly died when I sold my Fold 4 for less than 1K

Wait, how are the cameras not good enough? At 3:43 when you started recording the brown purse I was wondering why you were recording a bag, then I realized it was a video sample of the Fold 5. The switch from the camera you used for recording to the Fold 5 camera there was unnoticeable to me
