My biggest problem with the Fold, is that it’s underwhelming. I have a F4. The f*n inside screen was ruined, and the outside screen had dead spots. This happened under a yr of ownership. I was unable to log in to save my pics and videos. Sent it into Samsung for them to repair it. Begged them not to reset the device bc I am going to lose everything. Guess what they did? I lost everything. I lost about 10 yrs of my life.

I have been waiting for three years to hear great news about fold. I need Z fold ultra as features as S24U.

I'd still miss multitasking with more than two apps if I went away from the Samsung Z Fold lineup. They got me with that one.

My samsung fold 3 inner screen was replaced twice due to the flex cable issue which in turn when damage will break bluetooth, mobile data, camera and speakers

Samsung need to rediscover their 2011 Note mojo for the ultra. Funny thing is, if they create something that is a giant 16:9 screen when open, we're talking about a Flip Ultra, not a Fold Ultra. Otherwise once again we're stuck with black bars watching a screen that could be way bigger with a different approach.

My Z fold 4 stopped working after one year and I paid almost 2000€ with preorder. I will just say one thing. This phone is having a serious issue with opening mechanism and software update and normal warranty does not cover it. Even after the factory reset it stucks on samsung logo until battery is drained out completely. Unfortunately I am not the only one wit this issue, but definitely worth of mentioning that this is my last foldable phone and last samsung as well. I never liked iPhone but after this they lost me forever.

Honestly im content with my z fold 5. The only way id get an ultra would be if the upgrades are insane. I would definitely buy a food fe but only if they didn't cut too many corners like they did with the tab s9 fe

I will go for one plus open or vivo fold If I have to opt for foldable s as their specs is what it should be.

If they wanted they could. Just make the FE equal to the S24 Ultra. That will boost the sales of S24 Ultra. FE to start at 1200.

My Fold 4 looks like need to change the INNER SCREE FOR THE 2ND TIME even though i hardly open it...maybe once or twice a week...no more FOLD...

They don't need to make the fe thinner, the price alone will get people rushing to buy the cheaper versions fold.

Firstly, the FE is never released the same time as the main phone. No one really wants that. Secondly, that price would be dumb because then it'll be cheaper than the Z Flip, which is dumb. Ultra the only thing they should be thinking about

Samsung just got caught in the act or it sells its smartphones just way too expensive than they should. The Z Fold 6 FE at 800 dollars is indeed a marketing error and the only real way out of it for Samsung would be to drastically lower the price of the classic Z Fold 6 at the prices of the competition which do better for less then finally put the Z Fold 6 Ultra at the price where the classic should have been. And perhaps in this configuration, a future Z Fold 6 FE at $800 would be less inappropriate. Samsung certainly did not expect that folding smartphones would become popular enough for competition to get serious about it and kept the price high thinking that it would have exclusivity and that the product would remain niche enough to remained alone in this market and continue to justify this price.

And here I am on the opposite side, thinking, "I really wish the oneplus open had an equivalent of the S Pen and Dex..." Others may have gotten an edge on Samsung with hardware, but I'm too hooked on their software to jump ship. I think Sammy's real problem is that they can't make em cheap enough. My Fold 4 cost twice as much as my S22 Ultra, and is a lesser phone in every way (apart from the large inner screen of course.) With all the trade-offs, it seems like they should have been the same price. If Sammy is gonna charge twice as much for a fold than the top of the line S series phone, then it should at least have the same specs. As it is now, if they wanted to release a CHEAPER fold, then it would have to have a processor from 4 years ago instead of 2 years ago like they use now. And if they come out with a Fold Ultra, it might have the same processor as the s24 ultra, but it will cost like $3k. All of this because they overcharge for their existing foldables. The Fold 4/5 should have been the same price as their Ultra S series counterparts. THEN they would have room for an Ultra model at the current $1800 price point. The idea of them releasing a CHEAPER Fold is just unfeasible. The base model Fold is already so stripped down, it doesn't GET cheaper to make. So they would just be losing money.

That is Samsung's strategy to make users delay in buying the better Chinese foldables.

I regret buying my Z Fold 5, $1800 it's way too much money for a phone like this, it doesn't even have a 100 mega pixel camera and comes with no S Pen! I can't wait to trade it in, I'm going to go with the Galaxy A55, I'm tired of these overpriced high-end phones

Samsung-Koreans, Apple & Google-americans has produced a better product over the Chinese😂😂😂 Huawei, Oppo, Oneplus, Vivo, all Chinese Brands that produce way better Phones. Everything isn't Apple or Samsung😂😂😂, there's way better outhere. They lead you to believe this sansung & Apple are all there is in the world😂😂😂. Oneplus Open is way better.
