this has to be the best tear down ive seen of this laptop. one question though, can the cockroaches be trained to retrieve lost screws?

Менял клаву на этом ноуте. Пару замечаний (советов): не знаю как он отвёрткой отковыривал "заклёпки", но я взял сверло и шуруповёрт и всё норм разобралось. При сборке использовал не паяльник, а клеевой пистолет. Всё склеилось на ура.

@@technologyguide5 Guess I could have added although tempted to do home repairs, similar, ie keyboard, speaker,.. I don't have a backup in case of mistakes. Nor is it worth taking in to a professional. If I get a new one maybe.

Great video, could do w/o the distracting music, but content-providers seem to think this is expected these days 😞. Those recent-ish "chiclet" style keyboards suck, k/b replacement shouldn't be this labour-intensive 😞. Fun watching the insects walking across his work-top, I'd have taken the soldering-iron to them 🙂

pcie wifi card. if you used ethernet cable for internet or usb wifi dongle you could use the pcie slot for other things. would have to be short though think most m.2 is 80mm

the right arrow key on my keyboard stopped working. i pulled the keycap off and cleaned the contact but that didn't do anything. visually it looks fine. do you think the only way to get it working again is to change the keyboard?

check CPU fan and if it working properly then clean the fan

@@technologyguide5 already cleaned also replaced thermal paste and fans are working too,before cleaning and thermal paste replacement it would up to 93 on full load but now its up 85 which is still high right, or is it ok for the cpu to go that high (its i5 2450m)
