I remember getting one of these on a 24 month contract without doing any research simply because I had an hour for lunch at work and I was bored. The touch screen was terrible 😂

Well have had my Omnia for a week now and its the best Phone I have ever had. Camera is top drawer and it has loads of features and applications. Would recommend this to anyone.

Yes when you turn the phone when you are writing the sceen flips for larger buttons and yes there are different backgrounds you can choose from ( Mostly themes so change colors and stuff)

I like how he said he would cover the camera interface and then not do it. Total way to stick it to the man.

ive had the samsung omnia for 3months and im still discovering how to work stuff on it its a good phone but very complicated....i recommend it if your on 3 because you'll get free TV and KZfaq

In the USA it is officially sold through Verizon stores. A GSM (T-Mobile and AT&T) unlocked version can be purchased through an importer, since Verizon wants it to be "their phone" in the USA officially.

Ordered mine today and cant wait. Looks a nice bit of kit. Love the look of it, similar to the Iphone but has alot more to it.

some questions: 1: can you download apps like games without a computer? 2: is it easy to sync the device to a computer? 3: can you copy-and-paste from a computer to the device or is it like iphone?

I just got this phone and already i have 7 dixv movies in this phone, dont forget people this phone has 8 gig of internal memory and you can use a memory card. Really Good Phone.

OHHH!! Man, that is such a good fone. For everything, you want this is pretty GOOD!!

You have to have a Web and Text Msg plan. AIM and Windows Live and Yahoo are considered data, since they retrieve material via the internet.

I got the i910, which seems almost identical to the i900. It takes a little getting used to, and I almost returned it, but once I got it down, it is awesome. The 5mp camera is a huge plus for me. I don't know if you already got a phone, but I hope that helps.

Wi-Fi lets you connect within 300 feet of a wireless access point or hotspot. Note: network popups on the home screen when Wi-Fi is enabled. Tap Start and then tap Settings. Scroll and tap Wi-Fi. Tap Menu and select Turn on Wi-Fi. The networks available in the area will display. Select the network you want and tap Connect.

Ace phone, one problem is trying to view the screen outside...its almost impossible, put a new shell on it and its a completely new phone and allows flick scroll throughout, even better and easier to operate, runs tomtom7 as well :) without costing a cent!

i have the i910 [same thing just the US version] and i've had it for months, it has no scratches at all, its like new (but i have a screen protector on it)

Got this for free !! No more iphone Crapps store. Free from the Apple leash ! Love this phone ! Gave the iphone to my kid who likes the games. I guess playing games on a smartphone is important to children. Highly recommend the Omnia to the adults but there will be a learning curve for those unaccustomed to a smartphone/PDA.

If you have bluetooth and WiFi turned off, you can get about 1.5 days of battery out of it, but this will vary on the usage of your data bandwidth as well.

me too im having to make this decision, for me its htc touch pro, omnia or sony erricson. But doing my research it really depends on what exactly you want, if you want a phone to show off multimedia with htc touch is the way to go, and is coming out top on most touch screen phones review however the software . Omina not quite there yet...

04:20 I have a S200 and the simplest way to make WM6 scroll stuff is to install a freeware app called "touchflo". Yes, I know it's not native but it's a simple solution :)

Yes, it does have a stylus. I love this phone. Verizon had a great deal on them this week and a nice rebate too

with the auto hold control so it puts some 1 on hold if u turn over the phone if ur laying down or leave it on the table face down... you wont reseave any calls...?

omnia native application's didn't include facebook application but for MSN yes there is one windows live messenger mobile. You can download facebook application in microsoft windows mobile website.

video seemed very informative. i like the google launcher idea if it could be a desktop widget. the reviewer had a voice that just felt like putting my ears to a cheese grater. Definitely would have rather read the review or at least watched it with pop up notificatons.

yes u can . although the omnia doesnt have an inbuilt app to watch utube vids. you can download the core video player or skyfire app and u can watch utube seamlessly for free. let me know if ur interested ;)
