I feel like oneui 3 was the peak of notification panel design for samsung. Music player was still coloured based on content. Notifications were properly grouped. Pressing and holding on notifications would give you more options than "ok", "settings" and "turn off ALL notifications from this app". The notification themselves didn't look as good as the big icons on oneui 5 but that's probably the only gripe.

it would be cool if, in good lock for quickstar, you could emulate the previous ONE UI styles for the notification panel. You can do this for the previous iterations of the S-pen mouse in its Good Lock module

@@jimmyispromoit's boring and annoying when you show a beta with the animations sped up/off which kills the 120hz experience and you usually can't show the animation/transition that is glitched. Also animations are a good indicator of performance and optimization. I'm also not a fan of channels that only focus on animations, but showing the beta the way you do it isn't the best

@@DENVEROUTDOORMANFPS drops annoys 99% of people except you and this channel owner. Animations don't have to be as beautiful as on iOS, but they should be smooth. I find the animations on One UI are good enough, but sometimes in beta versions there are glitches or bad performance that translates into less smooth or choppy animations. In fact, all navigation around the system is based on animations. Especially when you use navigation gestures.

Yea i figured. It is newer on one hand and wanted to still show it off. And that the module is flawless on beta. Only one disconnected is NavStar

We just want an option to switch between NEW (6.0) & OLD 5.1) Notification panel in One UI 6 like Xiaomi give an option to switch between Control Centre & it's classic notification panel We want to enjoy both!!!!

How are you finding the battery on your s23 ultra with Android 14 ? I feel like my im getting different drain with the august update battery wise but performance got way better. I just reset cache partition, closed app , adjusted battery setting so we will see

The music player is small on the lockscreen because you had notifications. I think it's fully shown as you don't have notifications. But you're right it was better with beta one

If u ever play a timer Can you see if the timer background notification will still be found at the very bottom of the notification area. Cuz here in one ui 5, when I play a timer in the background, you will be able to find it at the very bottom of the notifications. I always thought that running background notifications should stay up

The beta isn't coming to the S22 series. It's solely an S23/ Z Flip/ Z fold beta program.

Assuming as with previous beta programs like One UI 5, that several of the Goodlock modules will not work, such as LockStar, NavStar and QuickStar. Jimmy can you please confirm? I really enjoy these modules and if they don't work on One UI 6 Beta, I will sit this one out.

Jimmy, NavStar, QuickStar, NotiStar, and MultiStar are unplugged. HomeUp won't open. What I had thought. At least two months or more to get these back again. Disappointing!

Hi Jimmy, I bought S23 Ultra 2 months ago, and I am having a problem with Android Auto, it keep saying it is connected to my phone and car(Golf GTI 2022), but in the car a message shows & saying unable to connect to your mobile, whereas I had S22 ultra before it and was working perfect. I have done lots of things, updated all apps, phone software, reset the phone, removed the update from Android Auto, but still have the same problem not showing on car screen nothing, even contacted Samsung customer support didn't help. please advise

My Beta 6.0 on my Galaxy S23 Ultra keeps dropping Bluetooth sound, and I have to turn Bluetooth off and back on for it to work again. Doesn't disconnect its just no sound

Well, tech twittos don't seem very happy with the animations on Beta 2, less smooth than the 5.1 version in their opinion, what is yours on this point ? Concerning Samsung Health, wasn't it supposed to have a revamped version, was it ? Anyway, thanks for your video !

I don't believe the entirely new Samsung Health is there yet. I bet an update will come soon for it. For me, the animations are great. I also am not a picky baby and complain like them tech twittos unless something is an actual issue

For me they need to make that Notification Setting and Clear button bigger when you swipe down the notification panel. It's so baffling to me that you have a big screen and the buttons for those two is like catered for a child's finger.

@jimmyispromo oh OK. I think Samsung purposely degraded the battery life. Out of the box I was getting 10+ hrs SOT. And now after August I'm getting only 6 hrs SOT. Infact I turned off many battery consuming settings and with FHD+ resolution.

@@Swarasiva72 out of the box battery life on my S23U was excellent (and phone was still "learning usage patterns"). First update just ruined that, it became same old Samsung battery thing (unpredictable, 90 to 80% lasts a lot longer then 60-50, at 20% battery is almost empty). As for "older" devices (last years and one before that), I'm using Samsung devices for 6-7 years now and every One UI update just ruined battery life

Wish they'd let us to edit the wifi and Bluetooth options. I never use wifi and my Bluetooth is always on, so this is useless for me, it's just taking up the screen. As for the dark mode option, I think I've had it on for over 10 years, so it's also absolutely useless for me. All in all the design looks nice, but the main perk of the android is the flexibility to edit everything. That's why I dislike iPhones. Hoping that the stable version will have more options.

All I see is few cosmetic changes and downgrades. What happened with easy one hand use of devices, wasn't that the big thing with earlier One UI updates ? People focus on animations and fluidity but the are many bigger issues Samsung has to fix. Camera software is terrible, for example, and it's been like that for years. I regret buying S23U just because of that camera performance
