Very clear review, how is the compatibily with Tv’s otherthan Samsung?

Purchased this the other week, got it hook up and all and updated the firmware right away using samsung smartthings. my only issue is i couldn't make alexa to work. i love the sound, this soundbar and literally shake my tv and parts of my living room. the adaptive sound mode is amazing on movies.

Just got an amazing deal in Spain, this for 230€ (430 - 200 Samsung cashback) Can't wait for it to arrive, based on your and other reviews, I don't think I could get any better for the price

This is my dream soundbar, but i dettled for a q600b as it was £240, and added 9200s rears for £180. The ambient beam doesn't fo much for me, but the Dobly digital plus is amazing in a regular sized room . Content is the biggest headache, as there are too many variables with tv streaming and bluray. I use mostly on bluetooth except for movies and bluray. The jump between bluetooth and hdmi is ridiculous 👍🏼

Hi got a question so I got a dolby atmos receiver last year plugged it all in worked fine, recently decorated to had to unplug everything after finish I plugged my receiver back into earc to my Samsung tv its a 2020 qled q70 series and the DOLBY ATMOS COMPATIBILITY is grayed out why is that do you know

Can someone please help,I have this soundbar hooked upto a Samsung s95b tv,but when people are just talking on the tv it sounds quite tinny and can’t really tell the difference from tv speakers to soundbar,don’t get me wrong once something happens in the background you can hear the base kick in,but I’m on about when people are just talking, Any suggestions please

Hello, i have Panasonic jz1000s oled tv and ps5. Is this soundbar compatible and good for gaming and movies?

I have a Samsung QN90a TV and it doesn't support DTS sound. So I bought the HW-Q800b Samsung sound bar. It supports all content like DTS etc. The problem is that I connect a movie with DTS content to the TV with HDD and when I try to open it, it gives an error that it does not support it, but the sound bar supports it. Although the sound system is connected to the TV with eark, I could not solve the problem. What should I do to play DTS sounds and get full performance from the sound bar?

Anyone know how to adjust the dialogue for tv and movies, like make them louder? Is there a certain decibel I need to adjust or something? Also what is Dolby atmos?

I've got q800B about a week ago, I plugged my fire tv stick in soundbar itself and got another HDMI in ARC ports of TV and Soudbar respectively. I'm getting dolby atmos in demo mode of fire stick but not able to get it in any netflix (have premium account) or amazon prime movies having atmos audio. can you please help me out with what's wrong. :)

did you found any distortion or artifacts at higher volumes?

With 5.1 shows/movies the audio is drastically mismatched vs atmos. Any tips? Vocals very low and action scenes are very loud in comparison. I turned on Ava and the voice enhancement and I still feel it’s off balanced.

Hello, I think the LG S80QR is better. For example, the LG S80QR which if you compare it with this Samsung Q800B that is more expensive, does not have Hi Res nor IMAX Enhanced and nor does it decode MQA, which LG does. Greetings.

I got this soundbar last week. I've never owned a soundbar before so can't compare it to other brands but I'm more than happy with the sound produced and takes movie watching to another level. What pissed me off though is it's not cheap at retail price and it doesn't come with an hdmi cable but it picked up Bluetooth straight away with my Samsung TV then connected to wi fi when I turned it on. It did disconnect from WiFi on two separate occasions while watching streaming movies but sound was only lost briefly ... However no idea how it picks up dolby atmos from a WiFi signal as nothing was showing on the sound bar when viewing streaming content Connected it to a hdmi cable yesterday and dolby atmos was showing when playing atmos content.

Got this soundbar for a week now, my only problem is the serious lacking of bass! Even with subwoofer on max, soundbaar max bass en bass enhancement on its barely hearable! Newest firmware. Such a sub but no bass is a BIG downer for me :(

Bought one for myself and it ended in disaster. Neighbors constantly connect via BT and turn it on at full volume. There is no way to disable BT. No overlay menu to configure device. I had Marantz AV receiver before, but had to sell it because of small kids. No way i will buy soundbar again...

I wish samsung listed their wattage breakdown i know the 2 added speakers are 160w.. but I wanna know out of 440w what the sub n rest are..going from the 5.1.2 kit is 440w so minus 160w leave 280w between the subwoofer and sound bar
