Their manufacturing process is worse, and their practices also clearly show that they know that since they offer snapdragon for the usa but exynos for the rest of the world thinking that since most other parts of the world are less technical than the usa ( generally ), they will just accept it

For GPU, probably something that AMD and Samsung work on together rather than something samsung work on just by themselves. if im right, even apple(imagination), intel arc, qualcomm adreno are still using amd ip. just not on paper. still need to license from amd/nvidia and given how most of their gpu arch are way similar to amd rdna, so they are amd ip.

@noobgamer4709 if they can do that, then it's nit required 4 years to copy an already existing technology.. (Snapdragon X Elite, still nit released adter the 2020 M1 launch).. So if anything can use both x86 and ARM, they would pay anything for that.. but that is not even exists... you can't use and AMD crap on ARM (if Samsung already used it, they didn't even needed to coop with AMD, that just mean they share the profit with no real gain, since they already used that what AMD can offer.. 😂)

7950x3d might just be chip they used for testing while in the process of RnD as it says 2x96MB instead of saying 192MB which indicates it might have 96MB of 3dVcache on both the CCD.

The irony of Helldivers, is the game’s lore is centered around democracy (albeit a satirical depiction of it). And Sony is playing the tyrannical dictatorship in this controversy. BUT, as always, democracy has prevailed. Sony backed down.

7950x3d with more vcache is probably engineering sample of a chip with two chiplets with stacked cache. It will not be released. In the GN video (AMD labs tour) one of engineers told that they tested dual vcache configurations and it was worse than mixed cores.

What they need to do with magnetic mice and pads, is not make it fully hover, but just use it to reduce the weight of the mouse. Imagine 20g effective mouse weight.

If Sony wants to bump their PSN numbers, what they should have done is not make it a requirement but give incentives for people to sign up, like some free in game content. I saw that idea on Twitter and it makes a lot of sense. The people that don't want to link to PSN don't have to, the people that don't care get some free crap and Sony gets to brag about their increased PSN numbers. Everybody wins. Even though Sony backed down last night, I'm cautiously optimistic, but I think Arrowhead has a little work they need to do with their CM's and how they address the player base.

As someone who's been following the Helldivers launch and all of their updates from the beginning, but also someone who did not purchase the game, it makes me very sad for Arrowhead and all of the effort they have put in to come crashing down due to one decision that is mildly out of their ability to influence.

@@Jimmy-uk8df I think this is a bad take. Arrowhead, Sony, and even Steam know that players do not read every bit of text on a store page; it becomes more interesting when you see that they temporarily removed the requirement and still sold it in regions that they could not operate in with the PlayStation Network. Even more interesting when you see that the Sony page stated information contrary to the store page until it was recently updated. Taking into account that the game was sold in regions where Sony knew the PlayStation network does not operate makes this feel even more silly. To think that Sony didn't think that this would cause backlash and to think that Sony wouldn't be aware of what countries they operate in is fairly laughable. Sony should be aware of what countries they operate in and therefore where they can sell games\have the developers sell games, especially knowing that they were going to reinstitute the PSN requirement. That said, I think the PlayStation Network would be overall a positive for the game when it comes to matchmaking, friends list, cross-play, etc. It does make me feel it being optional would have been the better objective. For years Rocket League has had cross-play with darn near any system and cross-progression requiring the account.

Not going to lie, I was actually really interested in AMD making a GPUs for Samsung phones(while I don’t have one, I thought the idea could really go somewhere) I truly thought that AMD would make a blazing fast GPU that’s as good as a weak laptop, I could only dream.

Well, the 100-300W GPU is not the same like a GPU with 4-8W, and we still ignoring that fact AMD only have experience in x86 environment, and Samsung chip works in ARM environment (this is why even Snapdragon X Elite still not released 4 years after the M1, because not enough just to copy the chip, the transition between x86 and ARM still a huge work, they are not the same)

The 196MB 7950x3d was a windows bug. It so happenis that if you have VBS (core isolation windows defender feature) enabled, it misreports. It is in fact still a 96MB L3 cache.

That may be an engineering sample for a Ryzen 9 9950X3D having the 96MB of 3D Cache stack on both of the 8 core ICs. This would make all cores better for gaming and a significant jump in gaming performance over the Ryzen 7 X3D with just a single IC.

Regarding the magnetic mouse and mouse pad idea; it might be possible to integrate sensors for moving the mouse too, like one based on a magnetic field array. Thinking of this reminds of hall effect joysticks, even though the design would barely be similar.

I think I know the justification behind Intel's new naming scheme. We mainly talk about Core i# processors. But Intel has a few other lineups of processors such as Xeon, Atom, and Core Ulta. If I had multiple series of processors with several models for each lineup, I'd try to come up with a naming scheme that works best for everything that I have. So I don't know about you, but in this case, it's easier for me to put the word "Processor" after the series name rather than after the model. Intel Core Processor, Intel Xeon Processor, Intel Atom Processor, etc.

Seriously how blown out can this whole "Intel CPU Bad" thing get???? I have 2 Intel chips (13600k and a 14700k) I run A LOT of CAD and also a TON of games at Full 4K.......I have NEVER had 1 single issue. The problems are not these CPU's its the motherboard makers. Same kinda issue that AMD had with the exploding CPU's
