I saw a different video where a heat gun was used to warm the glass and soften the glue. It took much less time than how I see you struggling. He also only used playing cards to gently life the glass vs. using the wire technique. Thought I would share the helpful hints.

8m just wondering if I could use the glass top stove. I asked my son to change the screen, he said no . I changed the back now I need my front screen, yep and I had a hard time taking it off. I tell you what I'm 56 and I was so scared 😟 and now I am going to watch a couple of videos after I that I'm going to get lots of guts😱 and I'm going in for it. Because I'm alone on this, where are the children when you need them, not with me , but when they need something they come running to me. Well, wish me luck, I'm sure going to need it.😍😘🤗 thank you for the video.

Is it best to cut on top of the laminate with the wire? Why don't you cut under the laminated, between the laminate and LCD, instead of in between the glass and the laminate?Is it a safer method to separate just the glass, leaving the laminate until after?

there's professional seller on eBay who does glass only repair for the s6 edge for 150$, a lot cheaper than other phone repair stores who replace the existing LCD even though it's not damaged just to charge you almost 300$ for the replacement.

that film is the actual digitizer, so if u remove it u need to replace it with a glass with digitizer.

Hi Bladik. To be honest is something close to s4 s5, but is reallyhard to separate the Polarizor from the main LCD, because they are fitted really well.
