The s9 was the newest phone at the time though, would be interested in seeing a XR max, Note 9, and Galaxy S9 battery comparison...if it can still beat those 3 then its really the best phone in terms of battery life

Nice test. ^^ But I'm still getting Note 8 because I mainly use it for drawing, reading and messaging, not for games, social media or any other power consuming activity. I keep it shut while I'm working and sleeping (for about 14-16 hours a day) so battery life is not big issue for me.

I paid a 2k phone to set the screen at 1080p...Ouh yes!!!! Do the test again with 2K resolution on Note 8 and S9 Plus... that's the real comparison.

Should have calculated some ratio with battery capacity, screen brightness&size and how long they lasted to get a better idea of how well they're optimzied

I've been using the samsung galaxy grand for about 4 years now and is kinda great with battery life till date,hope I could get a new samsung galaxy phone.Amazing video.

I liked the iphon x it was fighting to stay but the s9+ took this one because of its new "emui" and the 3500 mah. And i like the idea of this tests by not testing one mobile each but you put it in one video so i hope you keep it like this and thnx

Interesting test! Found a 3750 mAh oem fitting replacement battery for my j3 Samsung to replace its oem 2400 mAh battery. This test is quite impressive given it seems it would have longer lasting battery life than even the Samsung S9.

Try adding the Razer phone which supposedly has a 2 day battery life.

I take it these a brand new but how fast do the batteries wear? I bought a used Samsung S9 Plus & the Accubattery app tells me that on a full charge it can last 4h 55m with the screen on. Its discharging speed is 16.4% per hour. This is running on Android 10.

Can you do a network speed test comparison? I want to see the dBm of Network signal when each phone is places in the same location. It doesn't matter the network as long as the network isn't prioritized or throttled. I want to see which phone had the fastest throughput of data.

I have just bought a refurbished S9 plus which was updated to android 10. The power does appear to drain quite fast in use. Is this a fault or is it (as i have read) a known problem with the current update?
