Thank you soo much brother I knew it was something to do with my LCD but I took it to the Samsung shop today and booked an appointment not thinking that they are going to charge a large amount so now I found ur video and I’m going to try this out and hopefully it starts to work again. When I was booking my appointment they mentioned that they will factory reset my device and wipe out everything and I was like whattt. But imma try this and hopefully all goes well. Wish me luck👍

Thank you, I was able to fix the problem. The LCD wire had come out of the "socket" and the tape was not holding it in place. I pushed it in and it has worked.

yes thank you! worked for me i had been trying to hold all the buttons for half an hour thinking it would do a reset but didn't work (the first thing you should try is holding down volume and power buttoon for 40secs)

Thanks a lot I faced the same issue. I took my tablet to repairing shop and he fixed the issue. He asked me for 300 Pakistani rupees. I said u have hardly spent 30 seconds to fix the issue. I said I will give u 200 rs he refused and said that I will unfix ur tablet problem and take to some one else. I said okk. I came home and watched this video and fix the problem in less than a minute. Thanks a lot for sharing

Sir i tried the screen cam back with lines and partial visibility fading and changing and finally went dark. Prior to doing this i disconnected the LCD cable charged the battery. Do you think my battery is dead competely?. I am afraid lines on display may be a sign of bad video. It was working fine prior to going dark and last thing i saw before opening was a msg invalid Kernel length faile to boot before i opened the case

Hello sir, what is white ribbon name and what is it for.

There is a dedicated strip to hold the battery connector, it's a bad idea to pinch the flat cable itself with the tweezers.

i have an issue where the boot logo comes up fine but after it goes off the screen just shows different coloured lines. the tablet does respond as when plugged in to the computer windows recognises it. the tablet doesnt seem to hold a charge either, any suggestions , thanks

Gonna try this. It works actually. Just pulled the Battery connector in and out and the Display turned on.

Unfortunately my display connector broke when trying to do this, and a couple of pins are gone. Display lights up for a second each time you press the power button which means that this fix would probably have worked if the connector hadn't broken. Any idea if a repair shop can simply replace the connector or will they have to replace the entire board that the connector is attached to? Also, what would the repair costs be for both situations?

Pls help. My tablet is Sm-t555 and it have sound but no image and wheres the LCD? Pls help. ASAP
