This was extremely helpful video! I'm in the USA and was so relieved to see the little brackets that came with the TV in the box. At our store here it said the mounting brackets did not come with it, but it does! We have an Apple TV box so another thing to have plug into the one connect box, but thank you so much. This was helpful in mounting. I now just need to figure out how to work the SmartThings app and changing the virtual photo matte and loading pictures to have more artwork than the default two photos that are on there.

Great to hear you've got one. I'll be honest when I first opened it all I was like "where the hell is the wall mount, it's missing!!". It's just so incredibly small, it's amazing really how it mounts. I'll be doing a bit of a follow up video too, you think there's any specifics I should cover off to help others?

As Mark said a brush plate into the cavity to route cable would be slick! Would be Interested in knowing how the sound is. I would expect the low ends to be non existent unless the big box has some tricks built in!

The sound is decent enough for general TV watching. But you would definitely need a soundboard or alternative if you were using the TV in a movie room for example.

This TV is perfectly looking awesome on this wall. And 42 inch is quite big enough. By the way from where did you purchased that machine from which you are making holes in wall to hang the TV . That drill machine type of

I'm building a gas fireplace and chimney, similar to yours. I plan to install a 43" frame TV as well. I was looking for the mounting hight from the top of the TV. Being a new build I will construct a solid rail in behind the wall for the mounting bracket & frame in from the outside dimentions of the tv leaving the wall open directly behind the tv itself. The tv box will be inside the chimney walls. Being a chimney wall I do plan to insulate around the concealed tv box shelf.

Yes. I am building in support blocking into the wall. My question is this: How far down down from the top of the tv are the mouting brackets?

With the TV is mounted, the top of the bracket is 4.5cm from the top of the TV. Let me know if you need more info

You mentioned a cavity behind the wall so would it not be possible to cut a square out (hidden by the TV) and fit a brush plate in and then route the cable to the side ?

Hi Mark!! Great idea! However....😥... I just had a look back through old pictures of when I was renovating the room. The wooden battens I put in go horizontal just above the fireplace opening, so there wouldn't be a route for the wire to go! Great idea though 👌

No problem. I'll be honest when o opened ours I panicked as I thought they should have been more items. But it's literally the 2 small plates that attach to the wall, then 2 bolts in the back of the TV that hang onto the 2 plates. Very clever design!!!

Could I ask, how long is the wire from the TV to the Samsung Connect Box please?

Hi there!! The standard one that comes with the TV is 5metres. You can buy a 15 metre one separately though...

Hello!!! No it can be hidden away wherever you want. Just need to get that single wire routed to it. Let me know if you have any more questions 👍🏻

To put it on the wall. Do you need to use the wall mount stand provided or can I used the one I currently have where I can move it (sandstrom full motion wall stand)

Hello!!! I can't confirm 100%, but the TV definitely has the Vesa mount layout on the back to attach Vesa mounts to. I hope that helps....

I have 2022 version of this TV. I hate this screen when I have to clean it. It's just a nightmare. I really wanna regular glare screen instead of this. Its cool when its clean, but clean it up its a damn challenge.

I bought this TV 2 weeks ago to replace a 2019 model (which turned on/off on itself all the time). Frankly the 2023 Model one of the worst products I've ever bought. Incredibly buggy software, nothing works. I will never buy Samsung products again. Regarding the Art Gallery Mode - The 2019, with normal glass did a more realistic job than the new one as picture frames usually have "plain glass", so the matte doesn't make much sense.
