Thanks very much I had same fault of no image only backlight. and with your video I found my TCON board was also shorting out. I had 1 bad capacitor on the right side. I just removed it without even replacing and TV is working perfectly again.

Expensive TV. I seen them fancy curved tvs for sale at Walmart. I find one at the thrift store I know how to fix it now. Thank you very much.

Thanks for video! Question, maybe one of the people here can answer. Is it necessary to remove the SMD's to test? Or, can they be left in circuit? Leaving them in circuit, you would seem to find one that measured out of spec, while the other good ones were within the same readings. You say 'broken' but that can mean open circuit, or shorted. In this case I think the exact reason is, that it is shorted. A direct short should show up, even if the smd is not removed. I am ready to work on a TV with the same symptom. Thank you sir!

The same Problem i repaired on my UE55H8090 i repair 14 years by myself a lot of Samsung. I found the same direction to put Off the rippon cable on the outside 3/4 Picture was on after that so i found out it can only broken one of the SMD resistor. I have an worth of 450 Ohm when i solder out 2 of them. I found your Video about no Picture but sound is ok. Its not everytime a Problem with Tcon. Maybe the F Serie model f5000 and Higher or it has a problem with Led backlights. Your Video is very helpfull for others they have a H Model. What resistor do you replace ? I take one of other h Serie it works fine.

hunt down short quicker by applying max 2 amps to one of the caps plus side and use freeze spray to find the hot chilly culprit. or I wonder if super accurate sensitive ohm meter will pick the bad cap out by showing the smallest resistance.

Real great video.. You took you time to explain every step but though you didn't talk. How can I repair a Samsung led UA32D4000N that has a white line coming out of the right part of the screen? You will only see the line when you move to your left. If you are infront of the TV you won't see it but you will only see it when you move to your left and on a black picture.

I've watched all of your videos and got into this hobby because of your videos, after watching I was hooked, But yet again I'm stuck with this tv I can not fix, I wish you lived close and I would pay to have you fix this beast that is driving me crazy, I live in Sacramento, stay safe with this crazy virus going around, and God Bless, Thank you, Thanks to KZfaq to be able to watch all these great videos, If you ever read this I have a curved Samsung un 65hu7250fxza, has backlights that stay on but no picture, I've changed the main and t-con boards and it's the same thing, could I get power and it still be the power supply? is it the driver board and do I have to remove the capacitors before I test them with my meter. And is there a better way to test to get to the problem, Great job brother while other people were watching tv I'd be watching your video's and try figuring out different problems .Your inspiring others

@@RepairAllTV Broken should mean open circuit. Short = 0 Ohms. I understand broken may mean either, as it just does not work. But Open, or Shorted should be used to be more exact of what we are looking for. GREAT video though sir, thank you!

So what causes a burn in the bottom right corner of the screen? I removed the cable from the t-con for the right buffer board and the left side clears up. The screen at the bottom right corner gets hot to the touch when the buffer board gets plugged back in and turned on.

Hi, I love the videos. I have very similar but not exactly same curved samsung tv. But my issue is is seems to work because when I push the power button on the tv when its on the quick options menu comes on the screen but it will not select any of the options such as source (like hdmi input) or volume up/down. but why would this be when it all seems to work?? I need help here.
