I dropped mine countless times without a case, even flat on the screen, I'm flipping it on a daily basis and keeping it halfway folded when I'm working out in order to easily manage my music playlist and other media content and after about 7 months of usage the screen is absolutely flawless with only a more than minuscule little crack in the screen protector at the middle, which I'm gonna change with an after-market solution if need be. Excellent phone, I didn't expect it to be of this amazing build quality. I think people don't give it enough credit.

I am a potential flip 4 buyer. Can u tell me about the durability of your flip 3. Is it still alive? Many people say the screen cracks in the middle where the crease is. Is it the screen itself that cracks or is it just the screen protector that cracks?

@@GE0RGE77 Nah, you would not need to worry about that if you had like a case or smthng. If you had the flip 1 then you'd have to worry, but this flip 3 is good. I'd say this is similar to the switch switch oled situation. If you had the 3, the 4 is a miniscule upgrade, but if you don't have a flip, the 4 is a great start. If you have the original flip still, upgrade to the 4.

@@GE0RGE77 My mom has a Z Flip3, she is not the type to baby the phone, I'd say she even closes and opens the hinge with quite some force. But she do have a beautiful case for it and after a year no problems at all. This phone survived much better than her S9+ in the same time frame.

I just wanted to say that the phone survived more than counting mechanism (repaired 2 times), camera and audio system. And it could survive waaay longer if not the sand.

It's suprising that the screen is still working. I think there is some solution to make the mechanism stronger after 400k folds and after its working like new. Respect to samsung!

Hats off to the team who did this test. Whether paid or unpaid it was a great video. 👍 I have both the z flip 3 and z fold 3 and the phones are great. What is really important is to appreciate the effort put in by samsung for this innovation. No phone is without its weakness but ya it's a new technology and samsung deserves all praise for taking the initiative to make it and mass sell it without playing it safe like most other phone manufacturers. Again thank you guys for this wonderful video it's really a great effort 👌

I have been so excited and had fun watching the stream time by time, but what I did not like it that was a live chat due the stream. I have respected to you and spoke more English than Polish (who I originally came from) and I know Kuba that you needed us to talk on English, so…. People made really sometimes bad words or being rude to each other. Anyways, Greetings and have fun. Hopefully we will seeing Fold test for Fold 4 too 😂😂😂🚨

Thank you for the efford. It was a well entertaining video. At first I was sceptical about the durabiliy of that phone. But in the end almost everything else broke, before the Flip does 😄. Woudn't have been surprised if the stone tiles broken by getting hit by the Flip 🤣.

So it will be still usable after 400k folds! I mean the screen and other things work, the only problem is it wont stand still or close. But I guess 400k folds is also enough time to save money for a new phone if someone saves money for them

My flip 3 was not damaged on the hinge, but rather on the screen. The sceen started getting small cracks on the crease, and started to get larger after about a year and a half of use. The screen itself was not damaged, no dead pixels, just annoying cracks at the crease. I ended up removing the factory screen protector, which remedied the problem for a couple of months, and I started noticing more small cracks on the crease. Forward two years later and the cracks are still there. I dont open and close my phone often, nowhere close to the suggested results. Phone has been babied and in a case since day one. I am up for a new phone, was looking at flip 5. Ended up ordering the S23 ultra.
