Try using it in the dark - tiny buttons, no back lighting...Useless unless the lights are on and still feels cheap regardless. Have you ever used a high quality, back-lit remote with real buttons?

or a marketing stunt. that battery will charge a finite amount of times. what then when it no longer charges? most will discard the remote instead of learn how to disassemble and change the internal battery themselves. that itself is a huge environmental issue with more e-waste. most people already use rechargeable NiMH AA batteries, which can be recycled at many stores including Home Depot. nice try.

Don't be stupid. Solar charging has been out for decades why do you purpose it hasn't caught on? It's bad enough it takes 45 minutes to charge an electric car at a charging station.
