Not sure if anyone else felt this way, but right in the beginning, the chord JC hits after that electronic gliss was SO EFFING SATISFYING. It felt quite literally like an exhale. I wish I knew more about music because I feel like I'm missing so many cool things. The only things I really notice is the way JC can move from different grooves and moods without losing the first thematic "groove" (the metronome). That was really cool. JC makes me want to learn more theory and develop a better ear if only to better know what he's doing in his songs.

1. No... just no. 2. Jacob simply doesn't. But if he ever plays a 'wrong note' (it's jazz lol), his creativity is only fueled all the more. His harmonic vocabulary is is off-the-charts crazy. Every note he plays - he plays with a purpose. 3. Then wouldn't that apply to a good half of the current mainstream pop artists that practically fart into the microphone and yet people praise them because they are 'successful'?

It's different but it promotes the idea of diversity. I love what they did here because it's different styles of music with different instruments. It has a deeper meaning behind it, we usually overlook that for most music.
