You know,I've been a chef for a short period but gave it up to pursue my poker career partly because i lost motivation for chef job. I still cook at home and love watchin some chefs on youtube but since i recently discovered you,in all honesty I'm pretty much done with all of them.. From what i get you're not a professional chef but you embody everything a chef should be:professionalism,goofyness and fun,just pure fun and joy of cooking and you sir are quickly becoming my favourite youtuber! You know you've come a long way as a cook when... you added the water to the pasta I was thinking to myself..."he should of used chicken stock" but...then you added bouillon. For the tuna dish I was thinking "I bet lemon juice would of good in this" but..then you added lemon zest. Touche sam 🤝

I learned to just add flavor at every level. For that I am so thankful. I just had half a head of cabbage and 1lb of frozen ground turkey. Thats all that is left at the store when I get off work. Everyone else gets to shop all day at the 'stay at home' order. I work in an essential job so i just get the scraps. A little soy, some garlic, pinch of cayenne, cummin, sesame oil. so goood.

Sam I warmed up tpo you slowly but now you are one of my 5 or 6 most favorite KZfaq channels. I am totally food oriented just like my basset hound. I will do anything for good food. It has to be simple though because I am simple. I hate to shop so I tend to stock up for a couple of weeks at a time. This series is just plain genius in my estimation. There are more working class people who need simple dishes using pantry stored and shelf stable items or freezer items than there are snooty snotty elites running around. Elites are few and far between but workers with little time to go to a market everyday are everywhere. Than you for recognizing that fact. Also thank you for showing us your humanity we all drop things and we all fuck up sometimes. We always have left overs that need to be utilized. You are just like me and I like that. I do not have such a beutiful back yard kitchen as you do though but I want one. I have a Weber kettle and a flame burner for a wok and a folding table for outdoors. I hate to heat my house cooking during hot months. I will shut up now. Thanks again for thinking of me. You are a peach of a guy.

Hahahaha! I'm sorry, but I saw the name of this video pop up on my notifications and couldn't stop laughing. Namely because, since we had some ground beef that we needed to cook last night and I had some made from scratch marinara sauce left over, I made lasagna and hand breaded mozzarella sticks for dinner. Well, modified lasagna at least. I didn't have any ricotta, but I did have some leftover blocks of feta, parmesan, and romana with a little cream cheese and a ball of nice mozzarella to bring it together. Great minds think alike! When in doubt, pasta is always the answer. - Unless you have to try and find it at a store these days.

We’ve made two of the Asian chicken recipes and now this tuna pasta...I’ve damn near eaten the whole pan of it myself tonight (rigatoni noodles and Muenster cheese, cuz y’know, it’s what I had). Hi just made the pasta with bacon and red peppers exactly how you made it and well my taste buds are in heaven! The only deviation was I added a quarter cup of heavy cream at the end that I needed to use before it expired. Super delicious! Great comfort dish during these trying times. Thank you so much
