DO YOU MEAN TO TELL ME SAMUEL RAMEY WAS ON SESAME STREET?! *dies from sheer awesome* Wow, they really had some amazing cameos/appearances in the classic episodes. I love this!

He sings well and wears costumes well. He's the kind of singer that you actually want to see in those pants.

I loved this clip sooo much over the years and couldn't figure out how to find it on here until NOOOOOOW what a glorious moment!! his voice amazed me as a kid.

I do hope the producers of Sesame Street have preserved all those videotapes. What a historical document of who's who in this time period. Of course, the kiddies don't realize the quality of the guest stars. I remember one time viewing a Sesame Street broadcast that featured Big Bird, guest star poet Maya Angelou and a bunch of kiddies playing ring around the rosy. I wondered if the kids had any concept who they were rosying with?

Just so cute! Samuel Ramey is the DEFINATE Escamillo ( wait, does that name contain TWO ls? ), Watch the Met version and you will know what I mean. Anyways, he is incredibly cute here. I didn't know he likes letter L so much! :)

Toreador's Song, from "Carmen".
@wotan2015 жыл бұрын
It's from Bizet:Carmen The toreador aria. You Tube is actually a good place to enjoy some good rendition. Try Gino Becchi's version for a full blooded, classic interpretation in both sound and spectacle.

It sort of struck me - the idea of having a national day dedicated to the letter "L". We'd go around with L's on poles and sing our devotion to the letter L.
