@@gregwhite3883 If you wrote up the lease option agreement properly, the owner is contractually obligated to sell it to you for 50k. Doesn't matter if he's pissed..

@@Ratrix Yes, That's the way I understood it. One problem to watch out for is if the owner goes into default. Remember he still owns the property and may or may not have a mortgage or other liens. You might be sinking money into rehab, on top of him collecting your lease pmt and he might not be paying his mortgage. I have purchased property at the courthouse steps at foreclosure sales and the tenants living in a house with a lease/purchase agreement didn't have a clue. They had given a hefty down pmt, paid their monthly on time and fixed the place up (thinking it was theirs and not a rental). Maybe there are ways I'm not aware of the guard against this...Worth checking into. Maybe in the lease the owner agrees to send a copy of the paid bill monthly to prove its current. Don't forget about tax liens as well. These videos are fun and educational to watch, but definitely don't highlight some of the many pitfalls.

The most moving part of this for me was Glen letting his negative self-talk come out from the shadows into the open, for everybody to see. It's that moment where he's starting to accept that the most intimidating obstacles are not in the pieces of paper in front of him or the contracts or all the stuff to arrange or take care of, but in the thoughts inside his own mind telling him, " you can't do this, you don't deserve this, you aren't good enough, this is way out of your league", etc. It's inspiring seeing someone come face to face with the most persistent obstacle, and to recognize that it is their own mind. And I love the fact that just a few days later when speaking to the investors, he was so beaming that you could see the smiles on many of the investors' faces. They were right there with him.

Hi Samuel, I first met you when you gave a talk at the Bournemouth PIN meeting at Bournemouth three years ago and I told you that it was the most inspiring talk I had ever heard. You just dominated the room the moment you entered and enthralled us all throughout your time with us. Oh my... Glen, the scene in which you talk about overcoming your own "personal mountain" resonated with me SO deeply. It is so STUPID that we are scared to do deals when we know it is the key to the kingdom, but seeing you so raw and honest just makes me feel like I'm not alone in that feeling and I am so grateful. I have been following Samuel for ages now - I went to his crash course in March 2018 and I still haven't done a deal for THAT reason! What even is that fear? I think it is programmed belief systems... I can understand them and analyse them but doing a deal is a whole other kettle of fish. Samuel, as always, you are a saint. I truly believe you are sent here like a prophet to free us all, but ultimately we can only free ourselves and that is the irony. This is so powerful... I love you both so much! This made me cry... It completely resonated with me. I was diagnosed with Cancer and came through the other side, and now I'm in my 20's trying to start in property from the ground up. I don’t think this guy would’ve pulled it off without the millionaire insurance guy on his side when he did the deal, I’m sure the owner felt more reassured knowing he’s got a millionaire to cover any damage that could happen in the process. Trust is everything..
