Samurai 33” tire test

I have a 98 samurai with 30's is that much of a difference to have 33's dont you lack power? And how is it on tus highway, i like the way they look but i use my samurai to go to work so it would be a problem if it gets too slow

What wheels and offset do you have. My tires stick way out and i cant hardly control them, also i broke my steering gear box. I had bone stock manual steering. What does this have. Im just trying to do some research because im buying some wheels and tires.

i got a samurai with 33 inch wheels and a bmw 318 si engine....the stock deffs are slow...can i put a vitara deffs ??

how did you fit 33" without spoa? what solution of lifting did you use?

This phase consisted of calmini 3”lift springs and extended shackles

Ive just bought a 1987 tintop can i just put 30 on it or do i have to upgrade something please let me know when you get a chsnce thanks very nice off roading clips also a lift ??

This tin top had a 3” lift. I believe 30s should fit with no lift. I ran 30x9.5 on my red samurai with the old man emu 1.5” lift and aftermarket front bumper no issues.

The Tin Top sounds like it's missing. I'd sure like to find a clean straight Tin Top.

It probably is, it also has a cobbled together exhaust made out stainless steel hand rail and a dirt bike muffler. It’s better than it was before open header and you throw together what you can to get in the woods.

Any wheels spacer required for the 33"

This was with no spacers, the spacers made the scrub radius worse and got into the firewall a lot.

do the axle and housing handle the stress of such big tires?

They have so far, I believe as long as you are not just beating on them they should be fine
