@@amoral_minority I mean technically it does But you have to know how or when to use it For example the whole shoes with rock Lee The whole point of it is basically that you get so used to wearing it that you act normal with it So when you take it off, your muscles are more stronger than before because it had to accommodate it

I just noticed at 0:55 the monkeys are doing the whole three wise monkeys "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" thing. One is covering its eyes, one is covering its ears, and one is covering its mouth. Nice touch.

Which training? His original training with Master Roshi while wearing the turtle shells, or the training on King Kai's planet in the Saiyan Saga? Also let's not forget that while doing the original training with King Kai Goku was forced to constantly wear his training weights on the planet that was 10x Earth's Gravity.

This scene in particular remains a core memory for me from my childhood. That's how good those cartoons were at their time. The soundtrack in sync with the images, the life teaching subtile messages etc. Here I am 20 years later watching again the series on streaming platform because I didn't got a chance to watch season 5 that was released in 2017 if not mistaken. I laugh and smile because I comprehend some things I didn't payed attention as a kid. One of the best cartoon shows of a generation for all ages.

I bought the blu ray box set as soon as it was announced a few years ago as I remember watching it as a kid but not very often cuz it was always on late and I’ve watched it numerous times. One of the best cartoons ever made, the art style is amazing

I think this is a classic clip that can inspire people to want to train, a bit similar to Dragon Ball as well. Especially since when you think about it the rocks tied to his arms could help strengthen them too as well as adding weight to strengthen his legs.

I like the touch that the first test is literally jumping like 2 inches. It's not immediately going into jumping huge distances. Exercising is slow, and you won't go from starting out to a ton of results immediately.

yup in Dragon Ball, when Goku and Krillin were studying under the Turtle Hermit, he made them do chores while carrying heavy turtle packs on their backs, that way, they unknowingly increased their speed and their strength Picolo Junior didn't approve of this method much though, he thought it was an excuse to use kids as free labor
