They hold the record i think for the quickest beatdown Jack ever had. Jack wasn't holding his own he was barely holding on for dear life in this fight.

They were beating him from a surprise attack but if the sword could actually defeat them they would have lost

@@c.galindo9639 That's what's so impressive for their part for 3 reasons. 1- The sword couldn't kill them and they regenerated perfectly from its cuts. The sword was forged by 3 deities to kill the incarnation of pure evil but couldn't kill the 3 minions. 2- They had Jack on the ropes holding desperately for dear life in this fight, and they hold the record for quickest Jack beatdown. 3- They managed to catch Jack completely by surprise. Think about all the ambushes he thwarted and traps he got through. Yet they caught him completely by surprise and were seconds from killing him seconds AFTER their first attacks. Think about ALL the implications this fight entails.

The Ultra Robots we're most certainly able to give Jack a fight for his life mostly due to their familarity with Jack's fighting style and because of their armor plating which was able to shrug off Jack's sword with ease. However Jack was far from finished when he soon discovered that in order to succeed he needed help from a power gauntlet in order to enhance his strength to cut through the bots nigh indestructible alloy called Adamantium (which isn't the same Adamantium that Wolverine and Ultron are made since in order to destroy true Adamantium you need to be Superman level strength and Jack even with the power arm doesn't come close to that level of strength) During his fight with The Guardian Jack was able to hang with the huge hulking Juggernaut for a good period of time before getting brutally beaten down and nearly killed in the process. Had there been a fight between these 3 titans of death the victor would no doubt go to The Minions Of Set. The Minions would mostly likely be able to cut through The Ultra Robots thick, dense armor since they can cut down pillars the size of buildings at (0:55) and are probably even around the same level of strength as The Guardian who can take down giant robots the size of skyscrapers. Ergo both The Minions Of set and The Guardian would essentially tear The Ultra Robots apart like wrapping paper. As for The Guardian his fight with The Minions would be an interesting one. While his strength, endurance and vast arsenal of weaponry would work quite well against The 3 savage beasts his age coupled with The Minions superior speed, sheer ferocity and immortality would only prolong the inevitable.

I think the guardian was a top tier battle

In a Cartoon Network universe that had one big crossover movie, I say the aforementioned idiot to free the Minions of Set would most likely be Billy from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. Billy is usually the one who unleashes the Monster of the Week and dooms Endsville and the World as we know it.

You also forgot about The Guardian. He was the only one who could beat jack 1 on 1. The Minions do have a gimmick in that Jack can't hurt them AT ALL.

The only one to beat Jack fair were the bandit couple when Jack went to that Western town. Each if the ones listed had an advantage over Jack or used a way to subdue him. He could win them on even grounds with skill alone

I like that you pointed out the detail with the minion growling and then Jack’s eye. It really did make me feel the confusion and panic he was feeling mixed with the terror of these monsters

Jack still survived using skill/cleverness and thinks quick on his feet long enough to summon ra. He even cut through one of the minions if it wasn't for their immortality regeneration. Any other human mortal would've gotten blitzed and killed within seconds. It just shows how skilled and powerful of a warrior Jack is and the caliber/level you have to be to take down Jack.

Well there are a few different interpretations of the egyptian god Set in history. It seems Samurai Jack canon depicts the "malevolent god of chaos/war/destruction/oppression/etc." description of Set. So maybe since Set and his minions are evil, Aku (being the embodiment of evil itself) thought that he could make allies or even subordinates out of the minions and their deity through their common views and goals.

I'm not sure if they'd attack Aku after they dealt with Jack, considering that they had a fine opportunity to do so after slaughtering his robot entourage. Maybe the Minions recognize him as the one who freed them and thus decide not to attack him...the rest of the universe is probably fair game, though, and I doubt Aku cares much about how much they destroy as long as it spreads fear and suffering.
