Күн бұрынThis third part of Samurai Shodown Story explains the events narrated in Samurai Shodown 64, 64 Warriors rage and Warriors rage.
Each game introduces a new protagonist : Haohmaru and Shiki in Samurai Shodown 64, Asura in 64 Warriors rage and Seishiro and Mikoto in Warriors rage.
The first two were released on the Hyper Neo Geo 64, while the last one was exclusive to the original Playstation.

I find it ironic that the last fight of Haomaru with Genjiro he lost and Genjiro got killed by a kid who took revenge on him killing his parents, talk about karma. The one thing I'm glad that Haomaru even in late 40's is still a tough as ever and got Mikoto back safely. I won't be surprise if there is a SS where Mikoto and old Haomaru are present.

if this Samsho become anime.. and produce by Ufotable just like demon slayer. its gonna be epic.. i love this game before they collab on King of Fighters all star... SNK did a lot of effort way back then... the plot and story is so epic until now.. love from PH 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭 SNK fans always 😊

I really liked the series. I'd love if you could do an extra covering the non-canon storylines from the non-canonical games like SamSho 6 or Sen. It's hard to find information about these games, especially the 3D ones, so I'd love to see more.

Very nice series; watched all 3 videos. The story of these last few games is really wacky but I find it somehow endearing. I also enjoy how instead of forcing Haohmaru to the frontline all the time, it created new characters and allowed the passing of time (even decades!). I feel that aspect always makes stories a little bit more epic and grounded....even when they're this full of anime tropes. I'd like for these designs to be re-adapted for a sequel to 2019's Samsho in the future.

Wow, this story was way deeper than i gave it credit for Shoryu. I played most of them in Japanese, so i had no idea what i was reading. I love some Shiki, so it was awesome to get some backstory on who she was, It make me want to play them all again lol. Thanks for the breakdown!

Great job bro, just wanted to add a couple things -yuga's warriors are hermaphrodites. Shiki is also a hermaphrodite. Also there is the big meat man made up of body parts (gandara) who got mass produced during yuga's second appearance. shiki fought genjuro who left her a scar on her back in order not to kill her and free her from her tattoo's curse (genjuro has a soft spot for women). When asura's second half took over shiki, he healed the scar and made the tatoo curse stronger. Half shade shiki has both of her eyes red to symbolize how much stronger shiki's curse is (as opposed to her previous single red eye before her curse was lifted)

Excellent video series! I've only played afew of the Samurai Shodown games over the years, been meaning to play them more for a long time and now seems like a good time to finally dive into them properly! Would love to see more lore videos about the individual characters for sure! Keep up the awesome work Shoryu!

Thank for the video lore, however i am just curious about galford ending, as it knows that he has crush to nakoruru. And in SS V there was secret ending where bust Galford end up with nakoruru, can u figure it out this lore?

Great retrospectives ShoryuGame !! Is Samurai Spirits 6 canon? The 2D era was amazing , hopefully there's a SNK vs Capcom 3... Only game I played with Asura & Shiki were NeoGeo Battle Colisseum.

Will you consider making a video about Fatal Fury lore? Please?, Or at least do a KOF lore of K Dash's loyal partner and best friend Maxima or the most underrated member of team Esaka/Japan which has very rich story that revolves around every KOF story(where he is actually always in almost every KOF game) Benimaru Nikaido, where I'm always curious on what kind of a person he really is(im really interested because his a part of my main team in every KOF game) or how bout a lore his best friend and Kyo's best student Shingo Yabuki, If that would ok?.

@@ShoryuGame but to be honest, the one i been really waiting for is a Lore of the Legendary Hungry Lone Wolf or The First King of Fighters champion/The Original King of Fighters, Terry Bogard. Because i really want to show it everyone what kind person Terry Bogard is, and also why i fell i loved with this character,not that I'm gay or something, not just because of his abilities and appearance but because of his warm attitude, transparent personality, unwavering spirit, pure of heart, cool and fierce but very approachable and friendly with no exemptions and always enjoys everything even if he doesn't like them he doesn't care. He's the reason how i got my motto, "regardless of what it is, always have fun! and you'll be surprised what happens next."

Just saw part 1 to 3, I saw u upload this vids some time ago just didint wanna see them cus some ppl cant seem to tell the story well, but u actually did a really good job here SPECIALLY part 3 cus its a bit wack with how 1 character is 3 (u know what I mean) even so this is a well put together video with well edit and fun as well, I really like it over all, I wanna be honest here, I NOT a SS fan... as in I NEVER played a SS like in high level, the ONLY reason I loved SS was 2 things, the MAIN reason is "Shiki", she is my fave SNK character #1 in my book, and I played her in SVC Chaos and NGBC, I try to get the SS64 games but there hard to come by. :s and the other was cus SSVI, I LOVE "Iroha" and im sad she is NOT much in SS games.... ;-; even tho she got her on spin off gams cus she was popular, but main Point is Im a SUPER Shiki fans since the 2002 and pretty much know everything its need to know of her and backstory and fam, reason Y I know ur video is well put together. Keep at the SNK vids over all and I would ASK for a Shiki vid..... but I already know pretty much all (exept the new game cus I wanna play it and have first so I dont do reaserch) I do wanna see a "Iroha" vid... even tho it be really short. Also do HOPE u do cross over videos games like NGBC and SVC Chaos as well also "LAS BLADE" vids storys. *v*

The history in general is somewhat even better than SAMURAI X itself... SNK series have so much potential for anime is ridiculous, If i was disgustingly rich i would actual patreon China and Jaan producers, no doubt. It also makes me wonder, where was Kenshin Himura in all this, since SamSho history takes place around the same age. I also wonder who's stronger.

There is some many endings on Warriors Rage 64, I assumed the ending where Tohma attempts to kill himself when he leaped from the castle balcony. I wouldn't mind seeing a continuation of the warriors rage story.

I don't like the last game at all. I hate when characters get old and/or a new generation comes and few old-timers stay. It only worked in Tekken 3 because the series was starting.
