Many people think the first day of training these horses are the worst. It has always been the last, the day you have to say good bye.

I rode for well over a decade and competed successfully on a local level. I never had a desire to take it further than that because to me one of the most amazing parts of riding is the relationship you build with the horse. It takes trust , communication and willingness to learn on both sides. I'm disabled now (for unrelated reasons) and riding would be a much greater risk because my condition makes me much more prone to injury and I don't heal as well as healthy folks. I really miss being in the saddle. I dream about it pretty much every night. Watching this really brought all of those good feelings back. It's beautiful what you've accomplished with this lovely little mare. I can't imagine how hard it was to let her go.

I cannot imagine how incredibly emotional it must be to spend so much time with these animals, become attach to them and then have to give them up. I guess it is a sweet and sour moment when they get a new home thanks to all the work you did.

I watch your training videos looking for little things like body language or overall teaching meathod for a new thing. It has helped me improve with my horse. He was neglected for a while and didnt get any training or handling for 2 years before I bought him. I taught him everything he knows, and I improved so much through the process. Your videos have helped me in times where I didnt know how to move forward to the next step. I can happily say that my horse has never thrown me off under saddle. I believe it's the little things that add up to a great horse.

I appreciate you hooking the stirrup on the horn before tossing the saddle up. I always see people just swing it up with the stirrups loose, and the stirrup always whacks the horse in the right side. Drives me nuts. Even if it doesn't spook them, imagine getting hit with those heavy things in the ribs! Great job with her! You made it look super easy.

You both did so well. To do what you do for Mustangs if amazing. Boo was such a nervous, untrusting horse, and you did so much to bring her forward, not only in condition (She looks wonderful) but also in her confidence and trust. Who knows what would have happened to this beautiful Mustang had she not come in to your care. she could have had the worst scenario, and we all who follow these beautiful horses know what that could be. You are saving horses lives, and for that I say thank you and well done.

Wow what a small world. I had my childhood years at Seminole springs elementary school. Grandparents lived in wildwood. My mom was in a rodeo I'm pretty sure at the same place you were at. They moved to Arizona. Then I moved to australia with my australian wife. Then they moved to North Carolina. Regardless, everything goes back to the beginning some way or some form. It's hard to imagine me being in Sydney right now seeing where my mom won her horse show at the same place your at. Damn small world. Very great documentary on your relationship with Boo. Nice to see you have your life long friend.

Respect to all who have contributed to the visualization and documentation of the journey.... it is easy to see that at the end of 100 days, the transformation of horse and human graduate and revel in overall health, love and trust that these horses and handlers posess at the end of it all. It's really interesting to see the different personalities the horses have - Boo is so much more skittish and independent than Eevee. But both of them become calm and willing horses. Boo is such a great name for a kinda skittish horse with a face like a Halloween ghost cutout.
