San Diego County to pay nearly $15M to Elisa Serna's family

Serna’s family sued the county over the in-custody death of the 24-year-old pregnant woman, who was left to die while under medical isolation. KPBS reporter Tania Thorne breaks down the settlement and its conditions.

History made in the process for all of those who are most impacted by the county system. I say let hell reign on earth to all of those who live in unrighteousness. Justice will be brought to fruition for all of those who need it most. Rip Elisa Serna, you made a way for everyone else to get their justice. May God protect you always as you look over your loved ones from above.

Its not fair that the people have to pay for the mistakes of the SDPD. Maybe they can use the money that they take away from public schools or libraries to reinvest in the communities. The budget they receive is beyond bloated yet taxpayers living in the most expensive city have to foot the bill. Not Fair!
