This dude a real G. He took me to a Crip club once. I never had fun like that. First he hung with us. He ad a good time so he brought us with him. It was five bloods with about 200 Crips. They gave us a huge pass. I loved it.

I’ve always wondered why the Hoover car never got established in SD and how SD remained a “rollin/nh ” city with an unbelievable blood/piru presence.

Cool second part of the interview! From a historical perspective being that they were initially called Neighborhood Rolling 40's Crip? When did the Neighborhood and Rolling switch positions? Meaning instead of Neighborhood Rolling 40 how did transition to Rolling 40's NHC? Also who/what influenced Donnie Ramsy, to create a new section/neighborhood as opposed to just extending the neighborhood/section he already represented?

Good question. Our original title was : Eastside Neighborhood Rollin 40's Crips. Remember that there is never a "g" at the end of Rollin because Rollin means to "Roll in" (travel throughout or hang in the 40s blocks) We rolled in the 40's like other sets roll in the 30's. We just put both words together to make one. (Rollin) Why did Donny not call it Harlem, or why did he call it Neighborhood? He never really call it Neighborhood. He called it The Hood. Our "H" stood for Hood, not Harlem. We extended it to Neighborhood later by adding the N, but at first it was just The Hood. That's why our title of Neighborhood was not originally connected to the LA Neighborhood until recently when the hand sign was changed by the younger generation to resemble theirs. Thanks for asking that important question. 👍

@@Truthbetolddd no problem! I appreciate the clarification and response. As far as, the question in regards to Harlem. I was just curious in that being Donny Ramsey, represented Harlem Crip in LA. Why didn't he create a chapter of Harlem's in San Diego? We you guys eventually switched the names to become Rollin 40's NHC did that take place in the mid-70's or late 70's early 80's?

I believe NH started around 1975. I went to Gompers from 72 to 75 and I went to elementary school with Marvin Miller. Trey Dog lived on my street near 4/5 for a couple years when he was like 4 years old then they moved. I knew Trey Dog, his brother Reggie and TySticks too. Many others. I remember Cirt Dogs name and was actually wad at that party when Tony got shot. I happed to leave before that happened. 4/5 originally was part of NH like he said things were forming in different ways. Later 4/5 became Blood

The founders did start the Hood in 74, 75. The OGs are under the founders so I was trying to determine the years that WE (the OGs) started in this interview. The Encanto Park "Brangsters" aka EPB started in 1979.

It was always said, yall started off as NHC, then 47 NHC , Rollin 40s did not get added on til the 1980s....... Harlem Crips in LA didn't add Rollin 30s until 1978. If Donnie Ramsey from LA.30s started yall, yall couldn't be Rollin til after 78.
@Truthbetolddd
@Truthbetolddd Жыл бұрын
@@joemosely9383 It was Rollin 40's already when I arrived in 77. That's the first title bro. Those dates you throwing around likely apply to LA. We have our own timelines in Daygo with separate histories. We all 60 plus years old now. I understand your points though. I just stopped here to clarify something I said during this interview, but won't be back. My place is in the video, not in the comments section. Thats why I cut off notifications in all my videos. Can't be in both. That's wack. Lol. Peace you guys.

@@Truthbetolddd Your place is not in the comment section? That's a strange response. You just did a KZfaq interview making a lot of historical claims. You gotta stand on your words or make corrects. I think your timeline is flawed. You cant separate San Diegos timeline from L.A when it comes to Crip'n and the use of set names. No Way San Diego Rollin 40s in 1974. Whats the difference between 47NH & R40......what came first ? Explain why yall claim Rollin. What does it mean and why yall say it? You know Tyrone Ramsy is still alive. Donnie Ramsy little brother. I think Donnie is still alive, so the truth is out there. Soon as it's established when the Ramseys landed in SD...... Something is off that a Harlem Crip didn't plant his own set in SD. That's what LA dudes do. Expand their homegrown set.......

@@joemosely9383 Hey Joe you know we see each other in Kev Mac’s comments and livestreams and I respect your information. I’m going to flip a question on you. Is it possible they got Rollin from another set in L.A. that had Rollin out before Harlem added that to their name?

@@joemosely9383 the set was E/S NeighborHood Rollin 40s crip from the start and still is today . 47 is just a block within the hood . The Ramsay’s moved on my street in 1972 . so the timeline is between 72 - 74 the Hood was started . Big Don may he rest in paradise is not with us anymore . But he has two younger brothers still around . It was definitely Rollin 40s in the 70s . So when you see 47 NHC that’s just the block within the set that that person is representing. It’s a lot of history in the Hood .

whats interesting is when he first moved to SD he lived in the Coast(which is actually the 20s and 30s) but he started up NHood in the 4000 blocks of market so they are the 40s) which is also ironic because dude that brought the brims to SD just had them keep the 5/9 even though they are nowhere near a 59th street
