Drivelapse video of Interstate 805 and Interstate 5 starting from State Route 905 just north of the San Ysidro Border crossing and then heading northerly along Interstate 805 and 5 all the way through San Diego County and the southern part of Orange County before ending north of the El Toro Y Interchange where Interstate 405 splits from the 5.

How do you design the road signs that you show for an exit? (Not including the ones that are pictures.)

All of my signs are photos. If I ever alter a sign, I just alter a photo in photoshop. Thanks for the comment.

Honestly, the drive on I-5 between San Diego & the Orange county is probably one of my favorite scretch of highway in southern California, after Tejon pass, CA-91 between Riverside & Anaheim & ofc, Cajon pass. Those are all the highways I plan to drive on if I ever go to southern California. Also, did you ever experienced an earthquake when you went to California, as California has a very high seismic activity since it passes below the infamous San Andreas Fault.

For all of my trips to California, I have never felt an earthquake. When the traffic is moving, driving in California is a lot of fun. Thanks for the comment.

Great drive! did you know that some country has a state-owned (government-owend) company rather than highway authority that owns or maintains freeway/expressway/motorway? Here's the list: South Korea: Korea Expressway Corporation Japan: -West Nippon Expressway Company -East Nippon Expressway Company -Central Nippon Expressway Company All three of them were part of Japan Highway Public Corporation (1956-2005) before split of three companies into privatization. You said before a drive between two county seats of their respective county, but your drive video ends in Irvine, not Santa Ana. I-5 in Santa Ana is between the 55 and Orange Crush.

I used Santa Ana on the title card, because "San Diego to Orange County" wouldn't fit on a single line.
