Cameras in the car will not save your life... I wouldn't use Waymo if the ride was free.. If someone was in the driver seat this would not happen since the driver would drive around the suspect. Also the suspect is likely targeting Waymo cars since it's an easy target. Hello people I don't even ride in Uber in SF these days. The suspect gets caught arrested and then released that same afternoon.

At 1:00, the lead SPPD investigator, Sgt Brett Grennell, says, "The suspect lunged at the victim" and "caused the victim to fall." Sounds like the police know these are violations of CA law. If prosecutors agree (they usually do), then you can expect prosecutors to file charges against the suspect, once he is taken into custody.

At 2:06, KPIX reporter Jose Martinez says, "like in the case of a man who was arrested and charged after he vandalized more than a dozen Waymo cars in San Francisco last month prosecutors said." That statement by KPIX lacks detail and accuracy. It concerns that actions of San Francisco DA Brooke Jenkins, and it refers to the arrest and charging of a trans-female named Ronaile Joshua Burton, age 36, not a male. DA Jenkins charged Burton with 19 counts of vandalism related to slashing tires of Waymos at 19 different locations in San Francisco in late June of 2024.

Why is there so many homeless.......just can't put my finger on it. Letting driverless cars on the road have to be creating jobs, and stimulating the economy..... right? That car have to be buying lunch, groceries, and gas. Good thing cause we will be losing tax revenue, and they wouldn't have to reduce officers and fire fighters.

Note that SFPD Sargent Brett Grennell never said the suspect would be charged with assault in this video. Instead, he said that SFPD are looking for the suspect. That implies Sgt Grennell thinks that CA laws may have been broken, but that he is still investigating the case at this point, and other CA laws may have been broken. For example, one cannot threaten violence and the alleged lunging seems to be an example of that.

Buchanan St and Clay St. The Waymo was initially southbound on Buchanan. The suspect was apparently eastbound on Clay. He got to that crosswalk first, ahead of the Waymo. Yeah, and suspect's bag is very interesting. It could be food in the bag, and he could be headed home, somewhere near LaFayette Park. The food seemingly came from west of that location, maybe along Fillmore St. People need to think if they have seen him patronize businesses on Fillmore St. or living in an apartment on Clay St. or near the park. He must have been around in early July and before, and he is likely still living there.
